Wonderful stay - very comfortable for family of 4. Good amenities, comfortable sleeping accommodations and access to the kitchen for storing food and needing cutlery was perfect for us. Lisa was a gracious host and made herself available for any questions or concerns.
Lisa made my husband and I feel welcome in her home even though we did not spend much time there since we spent most of our time out with friends. Our room was cozy and warm as described. We enjoyed the homemade granola and yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea! Her home is lovely and even though others shared it with us it was peaceful and quiet. Oh and I can't forget to mention, I loved our bathroom's heated floor!
Lisa is an amazing host... her house is beautiful and cozy. She has great coffee and tea for you in the morning and breakfast too. She goes out her way to make sure you are taken care of. I would definitely recommend this.....
I could not be happier with the thoughtfulness that Lisa demonstrated throughout the entire process. From booking to check-out, she was very responsive, flexible, and welcoming. Without question, Lisa is among Ann Arbor's top Airbnb locations. In addition to her home being very warm and inviting, the private bathroom and attention to detail is a plus!
Lisa was fantastic. The room was large and had it own bathroom. Both were very new. The house is great with the most enormous kitchen I have ever seen. She is right next to a large woods with hiking trails and we were able to walk into town. An A2 treasure.
We had a lovely stay in Ann Arbor although we never met Lisa as she was away for the weekend she left us clear instructions and a welcome note. She was easily contactable by phone or email. We found it easy and safe to walk everywhere we wanted to go, it took us 25 mins to walk into Downtown. Lisa's home is as described. We really appreciated the private bathroom and the granola for breakfast, it was yum!
We received a warm greeting upon arrival to Lisa's home. Although our stay was very short, we thoroughly enjoy our time in the cozy room and wish we could have stayed longer! In the morning, Lisa had homemade granola and yogurt for us to enjoy before hitting the road. She was able to recommend some good restaurants and local watering holes, which were all within walking distance from her home.

I have lived in Ann Arbor for the last 30 years, and love my town. I have a beautiful, historic house on the old west side, a 20 minute stroll to downtown and to Michigan Stadium. I am a 5 minute walk to the Ann Arbor city bus stop. My rooms are cozy, private and very comfortable. I am LGBT friendly and want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome in my home. I offer coffee, tea and homemade granola with fruit and yogurt for your breakfast. My home vibe is casual, friendly and easy-going. I currently have two rooms available. Both have their own private bathroom, with bathtub and shower. There is free wifi and laundry, a lovely backyard with table and chairs, hammock and a fire pit. Eberwhite woods is right next door, which is a nice place for a walk. In the cool weather, I always have a fire going in the living room, which you will have full access to. You can also have access to a fridge for your food, and if you want to cook up something, that's fine too. I work as a school social worker in the county juvenile jail. I run a non profit organization called Selma Cafe that supports local food initiatives and sustainable agriculture. I teach yoga, and I love to knit, garden, cook, kayak, swim, and in the winter, cross country ski. I speak a little Spanish, I love to travel, and I enjoy hosting guests in my home. I look forward to connecting with you.
