The space
This house is a traditional wooden house on stilts, with 2 storeys and 3 bedrooms. One beautiful Master bedroom on the ground-floor and 2 more bedrooms on the first floor. There is a spacious living room, 3 modern bathrooms and a huge terrace overlooking the garden and the swimming pool (150 m2, 75 on the ground-floor and 75 on the first floor).
Perfect for 6 people. And if you have extra small children to fit in, just ask us, we’ll likely have a solution.
This bungalow is really spacious and nicely decorated with comfortable beds, air conditioning but also ceiling fans and mosquito nets if you prefer to sleep with the windows open. The 3 bathrooms are large with hot water and good water pressure.

We are a young Cambodian couple and we have created this oasis of calm luxury on the edge of the lively, bustling town of Siem Reap. We have put our heart and soul into creating a very tasteful place, an authentic Cambodian sanctuary - the houses built from recycled old wood, with large rooms and high ceilings, the locally made amenities, the lush garden, and the beautiful pool area.

Our lodge functions as a small hotel of 6 units, with 24 hour reception and a small restaurant.

We are your hosts: we and our team will do everything we can to make your stay as comfortable as possible, helping with questions and problems, sharing our local knowledge and suggesting activities in and around Siem Reap. If you wish, we can also take care of organizing your activities.
Our staff are always available, but always discreet, dedicated, warm and professional. We strive to provide you with excellent service and personal attention: you will feel more at home than in any hotel.

I am Mengphat, the owner of Phum Khmer Lodge. I am a passion for traditional Khmer wooden houses architecture. I spent years collecting wood from old houses being discarded, all around Cambodia, learning about different styles. Then I decided to create a unique hotel, akin to a village. It took almost 6 years – and the wood from 28 old houses – to build the 6 houses of the Lodge. This procedure has allowed wood to be recuperated whilst still preserving the forests.
