Interaction with Guests
As your Host, I am here to offer you excellent service and facilitate your stay in every way possible. After breakfast is served, you may contact me via text message, email, or phone to further answer any questions or concerns you may have during your visit. I will, of course, be here throughout the evening hours to help make you comfortable. We greatly value Guest privacy.
We are 6.5 miles from East Hampton Village. Unfortunately, there are not any recommended restaurants or food stores within walking distance of my location. It is highly recommended that Guests have a nice meal on the way before arrival or plan to visit one of our world-class restaurants in the Village after checking in. There are numerous local taxis that will gladly bring you to East Hampton Village and restaurant of your choice. We supply guests with detailed maps and preferred shopping or restaurant choices.
It is two miles to the famous Springs General Store and Pollack Krasner Museum. The house is conveniently located a short walk to bay beaches excellent for hiking, kayaking and fishing. Ocean beaches are as close as 17 minutes away by car with famed Ditch Plains Surfing Beach in Montauk only a 30-minute drive. Please view our detailed Guide Book and Map for more Information.
Traveling TO and FROM East Hampton:
You have two options on public transportation -
1) Hampton Jitney motor coach leaving hourly from various stops in New York City
2) Long Island Railroad leaving approximately three times per day from Penn Station.
Please feel free to contact us regarding transportation to and from the LIRR or Hampton Jitney stops in East Hampton Village. We are happy to arrange pick up to facilitate your trip out East.
If you want to enjoy the area at your own pace, you can take the train to Southampton and rent a car from Hertz Car Rental across from the train station. Just tell the Manger we referred you. Southampton is a short 30 minute drive to East Hampton.
Local Bus & Bicycle Rental:
The local 10B bus runs immediately outside the front and brings you directly into the East Hampton village area where you can transfer to other Suffolk County Transit busses. Get the exercise that you’ve been longing for by renting a bike from Khanh Sports in East Hampton. They have a really cool single speed beach Cruiser with oversized tires for $25/day or a 21 speed Hybrid for $35/day. They offer weekly and monthly rentals as well and will take your reservation over the phone with a credit card.

Love + Light,
Elissa was very accommodating. She went out of her way to call and book a rental car for my friend and I, so that we had everything taken care of by the time we arrived. The room was very clean and toiletries were provided. The next morning's breakfast was delicious and the coffee she made met my bar (and I have a very high standard to meet for coffee). It was clear to me that Elissa put a lot of thought into making her home a comfortable place for guests. I would recommend staying here.
My family and I had a wonderful time in Elissa's charming house! This place is so quiet, very clean and relaxing in a perfect location nearby the sea. Breakfast in the marvellous backyard was really appreciated and Elissa nicely gave us advice for restaurants and trips around. You must stay here!
Listing description was accurate. Our room was very clean and the home is located in a quiet wooded area within walking distance to the bay. Elissa's home is very well maintained. The rooms are spotless with high quality bed and linens. Elissa was wonderful, both before and during our trip. She promptly answered all my questions before the trip, and when we arrived, she provided us with maps and guides as well as her suggestions. We made a mistake and did not rent a car in advance. Elissa took it upon herself to arrange not only an extremely reasonable car rental, but also to sort out the logistics to retrieve the car. She has a small dog who is very well behaved, quiet and polite. In sum, a very clean, peaceful home with a kind and thoughtful host. Thank you for a quiet and relaxing vacation!
You MUST stay here. Elissa's home is a gem - it is beautifully decorated, spacious, located in a peaceful area but still close to town. Not only is this a wonderful place, but Elissa makes the stay even better; she is a fantastic host! Very accommodating, quick to respond with many suggestions, and very easygoing. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the back porch (wish I could be out there every morning) and looking at her bountiful collection of heart-shaped rocks! I look forward to next summer and coming here again. This is definitely a place to stay and relax. Check it out for yourself! Thanks Elissa!
Elissa was the quintessential host! Lovely, warm and accommodating to our every need. Her home is more beautiful than the pictures convey and the room and the bed were especially comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful respite and hope to be back myself soon.
Elissa was a wonderful host. Her home was lovely and the room we shared was clean, comfortable and spacious. The area that she lives in is beautiful and close to town. Everything was as described. We had such a good time throughout our stay and I highly recommend this rental.
Elissa was a wonderful and accommodating host. Her house was clean, beautiful, and incredibly comfortable. The room we stayed in was spacious and was well equipped with comfortable linens and soaps. While at first skeptical with the airbnb experience in general, Elissa respected our privacy but was always there when we needed help or advice. In the morning she served us a delicious breakfast and her favorite coffee, and was more than helpful when recommending beaches and places to eat and visit. She provided us with a map and guidebook to East Hampton's restaurants and night life, which was an excellent resource for a first timer in East Hampton. This served as a wonderful first experience with airbnb as well as East Hampton. Elissa was a kind, helpful, and welcoming host and I would highly, highly recommend this beautiful East Hampton home.
