Interaction with Guests
As your Host, I am here to offer you excellent service and facilitate your stay in every way possible. We are 6.5 miles from East Hampton Village. Unfortunately, there are not any recommended restaurants or food stores within walking distance of my location. It is highly recommended that Guests have a nice meal on the way before arrival or plan to visit one of our world-class restaurants in the Village after checking in. There are numerous local taxis that will gladly bring you to East Hampton Village and restaurant of your choice. We supply guests with detailed maps and preferred shopping or restaurant choices.
It is two miles to the famous Springs General Store and Pollack Krasner Museum. The house is conveniently located a short walk to bay beaches excellent for hiking, kayaking and fishing. Ocean beaches are as close as 17 minutes away by car with famed Ditch Plains Surfing Beach in Montauk only a 30-minute drive. Please view our detailed Guide Book and Map for more Information.
Traveling TO and FROM East Hampton:
You have two options on public transportation -
1) Hampton Jitney motor coach leaving hourly from various stops in New York City
2) Long Island Railroad leaving approximately three times per day from Penn Station.
Please feel free to contact us regarding transportation to and from the LIRR or Hampton Jitney stops in East Hampton Village. We are happy to arrange pick up to facilitate your trip out East.
If you want to enjoy the area at your own pace, you can take the train to Southampton and rent a car from Hertz Car Rental across from the train station. Just tell the Manger we referred you. Southampton is a short 30 minute drive to East Hampton.
Local Bus & Bicycle Rental:
The local 10B bus runs immediately outside the front and brings you directly into the East Hampton village area where you can transfer to other Suffolk County Transit busses. Get the exercise that you’ve been longing for by renting a bike from Khanh Sports in East Hampton. They have a really cool single speed beach Cruiser with oversized tires for $25/day or a 21 speed Hybrid for $35/day. They offer weekly and monthly rentals as well and will take your reservation over the phone with a credit card.

Love + Light,
Great stay and good location. The room had everything we needed for the weekend. We really enjoyed the breakfast- very delicious :)
Elissa made us feel extremely welcome. We arrived much later than expected and Elissa was right there waiting for us with her adorable pup. She offered advice for restaurants and sent us on our way for a late dinner. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. The house is well-maintained and our room with private bath was immaculate. Elissa graciously set up a twin bed for me so my friend could have the big bed. Elissa provides a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, toast, coffee and tea. If you're lucky, Elissa will engage you in discussions about film, a subject in which she is an expert. There is access to the backyard as well. The home is tucked away in the Springs area, which is just a short distance from town by car. This was my first Airbnb experience and I feel as though I have been spoiled. I will certainly be back. Elissa is a delight. East Hampton's finest.
Elissa was great - especially when we arrived later than expected and got a little lost, she was there to guide and greet us. The location is great - the room we had was clean, bright and perfect for our stay. I wod happily recommend this and stay again next time I'm in the Hamptons.
Elissa is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to ensure comfort, communication, and convenience. This is my second time staying here and it was fantastic! My room was so comfortable - from the bedding to the temperature to the noise level (none but birds chirping outside!) Highly recommend her home to anyone who wants a few days of R&R!
Elissa was a lovely host! The house is well kept and she has the cutest dog too. The room was clean, quiet and has one of the most comfortable beds ever so it makes for a good night's sleep! We didn't have time to use the jacuzzi though :( breakfast is included - fresh fruits, toast and yummy jams. Her house is in an ideal location close to the Main St in East Hampton and about a 20 min drive to Montauk. Highly recommend!
Elissa was a wonderful host. She made everything smooth and easy. She offered great ideas and a warm touch to the stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Elissa. She was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave great recommendations on local eateries and places to see around the East Hampton/Montauk area, which we fell in love with. It was great interacting with the other guests each morning at breakfast. Her house was very nice, and she takes excellent care of the property. Our daughter especially enjoyed having a dog around to love on, as we were all going through a little withdrawal being away from home and our own pet. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely return. We would most certainly recommend this house to anyone.
