***This listing has changed from an entire place to a private bedroom with shared bathroom*** The condo is a nice, two bedroom, one bath (bathroom remodeled in October), with a full-kitchen, Midtown Atlanta condo which was renovated just a few years ago. The private bedroom has a new queen size bed, closet, nightstand, and dresser as well as everything you would need for an enjoyable stay.
The condo is equipped with a wireless internet connection, a large flat-screen with digital TV, Netflix, and a Blue Ray DVD player. There is free street parking (you may have to walk a few blocks from parking on Friday and Saturday nights due to a business in the area).
Located in the heart of the city, the fully furnished condo is a ten minute walk to Piedmont Park, the Georgian Terrace Hotel, the Fox Theatre, and the shops along Peachtree Street. If you'd like to have a truly Southern dining experience, the third-floor condo is a five minute walk to the famous Mary Mac's Tea Room. Located in the neighborhood around the corner from the condo, is a hidden Cuban restaurant named Cruzado that the locals favor. If you are looking to have a fine dining experience, Top Floor is located just two blocks away.
The condo is a thirteen minute walk to the North Avenue Marta train station. The train runs directly to and from the airport (half an hour to forty-five minute ride). I'm easy to work with and will try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Let me know how I can best accommodate you. Also, you are welcome to use pots, pans, plates, utensils, and any appliance in the kitchen. Coin operated washer and dryer are located in the basement.
You will have access to the entire condo with the exception of my bedroom.
Interaction with Guests
I usually have a fairly busy schedule throughout the week and weekends but will usually be around in the evenings and can answer any questions you may have.
Midtown is a vibrant, diverse, neighborhood with an extensive selection of restaurants, nightlife venues, and shops. It is centrally located between Downtown and Buckhead. The neighborhood is a mix of large, beautiful, single family homes, condos, and apartments.
Atlanta is a commuter city which heavily relies on personal vehicles as the preferred method of transportation. However, there are some public transportation options. There is a bus stop near the condo as well as the North Avenue train station a thirteen minute walk away. The train is most useful for getting to and from the airport as well as to Buckhead. Taxis, Uber, Lyft, and Zip cars are all available as well.
Please be careful to not hit the walls with your luggage when going up the stairs as the hallway was recently repainted. No loud music (use best judgment). Damage must be paid for. Non-Smoking inside. Please keep it clean as much as possible. Not responsible for personal property of guest (don't leave valuables in plain view in your car). You can park in the parking lot immediately across the street from the condo Sunday - Thursday, street parking Friday and Saturday. There is a door code for the condo I will provide. Much Thanks, Will
I have to be honest, because it's the only way I know how to be. This was an awesome stay! Yes, the description was accurate, the area was super convenient and quiet, which I absolutely loved! Wil was a great host who made me feel welcome. He's a really cool guy! I will definitely book this space again, when more opportunities to work in Atlanta presents itself.
I loved the location and the room was decorated beautifully. William truly was a great host and I look forward to staying with the host again when I come to Atlanta. William provided towels and chocolate on the bed it was a great touch and the bed was larger than I expected . A great first experience using Airbnb.
The place is real in the middle of midtown, the location is awesome! Will make you feel like in home, he is so friendly and kind. The house is a walking distance from the MARTA metro station and you can be on downtown in less than 10 minutes!
The check-in was smooth and easy, especially since Will was out of town the first week I was there. The bedroom was comfortable and I had plenty of drawer and closet space for all of my stuff. The kitchen had a brand new stove and oven and there was plenty of room in the fridge. The immediate location was nice and quiet, but there are areas nearby that are not so nice. A grocery store, laundry mat, and Marta are all within walking distance.
Very nice apartment and neighbourhood, walking distance to restaurants and shops. William was really helpful and made me feel like at home. I stayed there for 18 days, and he left me space in the fridge and made me use the stoves and kitchen. I surely recommend him and his apartment!
Staying with Will was our first airbnb experience and we can't complain! We didn't see Will too much and when we did he was helpful and friendly. It felt nice to have a homier feeling place to stay and the location was fine for walking to places in Midtown or hopping on the bus or train to other locations in Atlanta. Overall we had a good first experience and will look into further airbnb opportunities when traveling in the future for cheaper alternatives to a hotel since we don't really spend much time in the room anyway!
Hello. Easy going guy who will work to make sure that your stay is a good one. Personable communicator who will work with you in a fair manner. I love to travel, meet new people, and create new experiences with friends. I like that I can provide people with a place in the heart of the city so they can experience what Atlanta has to offer.
