Beautiful and quiet apartment in period house in the heart of the Prenzlauer Berg. Perfect for couples and people who are looking for an authentic and relaxing Berlin experience in one of Berlin's most popular neighborhoods.
The newly furnished studio apartment is located in the rear building of a typical "Berliner Altbau". Built in 1910 it still has lofty high ceilings and windows. The main living area has a comfortable queen size bed (160x200), a stylish couch that can be converted into a double bed (184x196), a dinner table with chairs and a spacious wardrobe.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need, including an oven and hub, a toaster, coffee machine and kettle.
The bathroom is spacious and has a big bathtub with a shower curtain so you can enjoy both, refreshing showers or long bubble baths.
There is also a washing machine in the bathroom.
As our guest you will have the whole apartment to yourself. You won’t have to share it with anybody else. You may also use the courtyard to store your bicycle.

Once you have booked you will receive a welcome email from us with information about the check in procedure and extensive recommendations for activities, sightseeing, restaurants and bars in Berlin.
During your stay with us we will also be there for you by email or phone.
Our apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful and trendy Prenzlauer Berg district, known for its thriving cafe, club and art gallery culture.
Excellent public transport connections take you into Mitte in about 10 minutes, where you can visit main Berlin attractions such as Alexanderplatz, Museum Island, or Hackescher Markt.
From there you can walk to the Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie.
The tram M10 connects the Prenzlauer Berg with Friedrichshain where you can visit the famous East Side Gallery or enjoy Berlin’s buzzing night life.
Just around the corner from the apartment you will find plenty of cafés, kitsch boutiques, alternative-style bars, a shopping centre, restaurants and grocery stores. The popular Helmholzplatz is only a leisurely 10 min stroll away, same as the Kulturbrauerei, an old brewery with shops and nightlife.
Also in the neighborhood is the huge & popular park "Volkspark Friedrichshain", with lakes, a fairytale fountain, film showings and beer gardens.
Don't miss the nearby Mauerpark with its large flea market and renowned outdoor karaoke on Sundays. Especially in the Summer a must see.
The the train and the metro station "Schönhauser Allee" is only 300m away and will take you directly to:
* the Alexander Platz and nearby Berliner Dom - 10 minutes.
* Checkpoint Charlie - 17 minutes
* Postdamer Platz - 20 minutes
* West Berlin, the Zoo Station, - 30 minutes
* Schönefeld Airport (SFX) - 35 minutes

* the Brandenburg Gate - 20 minutes

We have removed a walk in closet and have thus enlarged the living room and made space for up to 4 people. The last pictures show the new layout.

LINEN & TOWELS
Bed linen and 1 hand towel + 1 bath towel per person are included. Extra towels cost extra and need to be ordered 1 week prior to your arrival.
The apartment is located on the ground floor in a quiet courtyard and is therefore easily accessible.
Parking fees have to be paid in the area around the apartment. We therefore recommend to park your car on the street Schonensche Straße which is about 600 meters away and has free public parking on the street. By day you can usually find a parking place without a problem, in the evening it may take a little longer to find a spot.

LATE CHECK IN FEE
If check in takes place after 9 p.m. there will also be an extra late check in fee of 20 EUR.
Since the 1st of January 2014 all private Berlin visitors have to pay the so called City Tax. This 5% tax has to be paid on top of the price you pay on airbnb and will be collected during the check in.

Will I have to share the apartment with other people?
No, you will have the entire apartment all to yourself.
Do you provide bed linen and towels?
Yes, we provide bed linen and one small and one big towel per person. If you would like more towels, you can order them before your arrival at an extra charge.
Do you have internet?
Yes, all our apartments have free wifi.
How far away are the major tourist attractions?
All our apartments are located in the Prenzlauer Berg, a lovely and central district of Berlin with lots of cafes, restaurants and little shops. You can explore all of Prenzlauer Berg and parts of Mitte (=centre) district by foot. If you are less keen on long walks, public transport is only 200 meters away from the apartment and will take you to Alexanderplatz, the centre and public transport hub of East Berlin, within 10 or so minutes. From there you can walk to the Brandenburg Gate, Check Point Charlie and many other sights.
Do you provide coffee and tea?
Our apartments usually are equipped with the basics, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil. We do not as such provide these items, but we leave them in the apartments from pervious guests. So most of the basics are usually there for you to use.
Are we allowed to smoke in the apartment?
No, smoking is not allowed in the apartments and be cause for a termination of the rental contract.
Check out: before 11 a.m.
Check in: after 3 p.m.
If the check in takes place after 9 p.m. the guest will have to pay a late check in fee of 20 EUR during the check in.
Do not make noise / play loud music after 10 pm or between noon and 3 pm.
Please also try to be quiet when returning home late.
Partying is not allowed in the apartment and is a cause for an immidiate termination of the rental contract.
The apartment may only be used by the named guests. The usage by a third party or any other additional occupancy is not permitted.
Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the building.
Downloading, uploading or viewing of illegal content through our internet connection is forbidden. According to German law, illegal downloading and streaming can result legal prosecution and a fine of 1000 € or more.
