Other things to note
-------------- CATS IN THE VILLA ----------------
The villa has three cats that come and go occasionally, but most of the time they are out and about in the neighborhood. They are completely friendly and affectionate and have their own room with food in the storage area under the pool.
--------------- BAIL OR SECURITY DEPOSIT ---------------
It is established, mandatory and additional to any other insurance and/or coverage provided by the booking platform, the payment of 1,900€ of bail or reimbursable safety deposit without which you will not be able to access the property, with no right to cancellation or return of the amount of your booking.
This deposit will be destined to cover the possible penalties established in the contract for breach of the norms, subtractions or damage to the property or its belongings.
If the established deposit is not enough to cover the above costs, the costs of said process will be additionally requested from the guest or any of the occupants of the property, resorting to take legal measures if necessary.
The deposit will be returned within a maximum period of 10 business days after the guest's exit if there are no sanctions or once the necessary amount has been deducted if any.
--------------- EVENTS ---------------
Events are allowed with no additional fee as long as the minimum stay required is met, the occupants during the celebration do not exceed the number of people booked in the booking(family birthdays, Christmas dinners...) and the property is not used for commercial or professional purposes, nor will any audiovisual content obtained in the property be published or monetized.
If you plan to celebrate an event during your stay with more people than booked, make special decorations, or use the property for professional or commercial purposes either by charging for assistance or by economically exploiting your stay in the property directly or indirectly, you must pay an extra rate.
Examples of events that require extra rate: weddings, baptisms, communions, anniversaries, tributes, mass birthdays, courses or workshops, group retreats, spots filming, feature films, short films, documentaries, videos for YouTube, photographic sessions, product presentation, showrooms or exhibitions.
Prices will be confirmed once you have the approval of the owner for the celebration of your event. This price may be paid during the online check-in before arrival and externally to the platform along with the payment of the deposit and anything extra that you want to hire.
Keep in mind that the property can also be leased exclusively for medium or one day events without the option of accommodation or minimum stay, in which case the rates are others. Contact property for more information.

--------------- OCCUPANCY AND USE ---------------
Except for having written authorization, more people than indicated in the booking may not occupy the property, the property may not be used for a different use than agreed, nor is the sub-rising or the prolongation of the stay allowed. If the above is breached, the lessor has the right of admission and/or the right to set additional rates and sanctions.
--------------- ONLINE CHECK-IN & CONTRACT ---------------
When you make your booking, you will receive an email to proceed with the MANDATORY ONLINE CHECK-IN before you can access the property.
During the check-in you must:
1- Record the personal information of all guests, according to Spanish law RD 933/2021.
2- Attach a copy of identity documents for local authorities.
3- Sign the lease contract accepting the rules of the property.
4- Make the payment of the deposit.
5- Make the payment, when necessary, of the extra services hired (cradle, high chair, extra cleaning, late check-out, celebration of events ...)
Once check-in is complete, you will receive the autonomous access instructions to the property using the smart lock without keys.

- Damage or robberies. Please lock the doors.
- Personal damage (falls, intoxications, drowning ...).
- Insects or other animals that could appear in the property.
- Works or noise close to the property during your stay.
- Water/electricity service interruptions, etc.
- Failures or damage of the facilities (A/A, radiating floor...) or some other element of the property. We will get a technician as soon as possible.
- Sanctions or fines for illegal behavior (noises, drugs ...).
--------------- CLEANING --------------
The cleaning cost covered by the booking includes cleaning prior to the arrival of the guest and the subsequent cleaning after check out due to the usual and responsible use of a house: vacuuming, sweeping and scrubbing of tables, chairs, floors, cleaning of bathrooms and toilets, terraces and laundry of sheets and towels.
In no case is the cleaning included after an event or party, garbage removal, dish washing, paint or wallpaper of roofs or walls, textile cleaning (curtains, sofas, cushions, quilts ...), garden or pool cleaning, etc. … Nor does it include cleaning for negligent use of appliances, furniture, or property equipment. The cost of any extra cleaning, if necessary, will be required in addition to the price stipulated in contract.
--------------- MAINTENANCE --------------
Our maintenance personnel (garden, pool, etc) regularly go to the property to keep it in optimal conditions for our guests, even during their stay. They have automatic access to the outer area of the property; in no case will they access the house without our guest permission.
If, due to any technical failure, breakage or deterioration in the property, our maintenance personnel had to access the interior of the house, we would communicate it in advance to our guests to coordinate the visit.
--------------- COVID ---------------
The guest is solely responsible for the fulfillment and application of the appropriate measures related to the current COVID-19 situation in the property. The lessor is not responsible for the lack of application of them, or the cancellations of bookings derived from said situation.
--------------- INSURANCE --------------
We highly recommend hiring insurance related to travel, cancellations, robberies, personal damage, civil liability, or damage to third parties, etc ...
Additionally, in the case of celebration of events, it is mandatory to hire and show the landlord a civil liability insurance prior to the celebration of the event that covers possible damage to the property or to any of the occupants (guests, customers, employees, service personnel…) throughout the stay in the property.
