Must love antiques! The cottage and the house next to it are now on the market as a condo unit.
We are still taking reservations for the cottage and the house as well. We will not show the unit you are renting without your permission - enjoy
We are now taking reservations through December. We have had several inquiries for a winter rental but can only do that on a month to month basis now that the property is on the market.

Rebecca's cottage was a fantastic retreat; it was the perfect reprieve from the city life. After only a few days I feel refreshed and relaxed. Rebecca and her husband were very accomodating and quick to respond to queries regarding the cottage, reservations and accommodations.
My parents and I had a fabulous time at Rebecca's! The cottage is unique and charming. We loved the location: two minutes off the highway from the outlets but feels deep in the country. The queen bed was super comfortable and the fridge was stocked with wine, snacks and homemade treats. I might draw attention to the fact that the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow, so this may not be the best spot for someone with mobility difficulties, but we were fine. As this is the country, there were more creepy crawlies than I'm used to at home (spiders in the corners, some rodent droppings in the cabinet) but it was otherwise clean. We had a great time and would love to stay here again.
Rebecca greeted us on our arrival, showed us around her lovely cottage and gave us some very good suggestions for nice bike rides in the area and several places to eat. We enjoyed sitting outside & watching the chickens. Nice place!
We had an excellent time at this quaint little cottage off the beaten path. It was exactly what we needed for our seacoast adventures, in a great location with plenty to do. The cottage had a very cozy feel to it. Rebecca gave us great recommendations for the activities we wanted to do in the area as well!
Rebecca met us immediately upon arrival and welcomed us to the area. She and her husband gave us a tour of the cottage and provided us with a gift basket. She also gave us plenty of recommendations for places to visit or eat in the area. It was a lovely experience staying in a cottage that provided a weekend getaway but also gave us an "at-home" feeling. We were able to cook our own lobster dinner with all of the needed utensils already in the kitchen. All we had to do was buy the lobster and Rebecca was able to direct us to the best location to buy lobster in the area. The cottage really added to the "fun" of our little vacation. Once we got back from our beach and shopping adventures we could continue the fun with the atmosphere of the cottage, unlike a stale hotel room. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anybody looking for a place to stay for a weekend in the area.
Thank you Rebecca! It was a great place to stay. Very close to everything by car and very peaceful. Would go back again anytime.
I am an artist, originally from New England I have been living in Maine for 12 years, very southern Maine we have quick access to NH and Massachusetts. We live on the coast, on an old farm, 8 min from the beach 10 min from Portsmouth. My husband is a musician and massage therapist. We are currently in the process of renovations to the barn to create a larger studio space, but have a lovely little rental cottage that is sometimes available. We have two cats, lots of wildlife and we love to travel.
