The hosts are as nice and friendly as one can wish. This has been described by many guests before me. My personal contribution is that when I have discovered that the cable of my notebook does not fit the Italian electric plug, Mauro readily gave me his for the duration of the conference I have visited. Smth. you do not get in the hotels.
Just to manage expectations, there a permanent long-term tenant on the same floor whose room is separated by a sliding wall. Though seem to be a very nice guy and our paths have crossed only once during breakfast.
Had such a lovely stay with Rita and Mauro. They invited me to join for dinner and that was great experience! Will deffinitely come back when in Milan!
This is THE place to stay in Milan. Rita and Mauro are the BEST! They are generous, kind, warm, and gracious people. I would return to Milan just to stay with them again. For example, when I arrived late at night after a long day of travel they shared their dinner with me-- mushroom risotto, wine, and all kinds of dessert! Their room upstairs was clean and spacious. I am so grateful I got to meet them. I would return in a heartbeat.
Rita and mauro are super friendly and welcoming. It felt like visiting friends. I even got an exquisite breakfast. The bed is comfortable. I had good privacy even though there was only the paravant between me and the other guest. The house is clean and cosy. Nothing to complain. I will return and can recomend it very well!
