House of Vera is located on quite street of Jalan Merak Celuk buluh, Lovina North Bali. It's just 2 minutes walking to the main street and 7 minutes to the beach and to all the major restaurant on Jalan Laviana; there you can find many small shops which are serving decent food. It's 5 minutes by motorbike to the center of Lovina.
Our house is very clean, the owner is very friendly and speak pasable English.
It is rented out to only one party at a time, be it for one room or two rooms which can accommodate up to four people comfortably. As a guest you will have full use of the house which includes a big dining room, living room, kitchen and the front yard.
It’s Very suitable for family with kids, but also nice for a couple who just want to relax and be away from the noise. We have 2 dogs, names Scooby a golden retriever and Igo A Balinese dogs. They are very lovely, well groom and safe dogs.
Just be there and enjoy your holiday with us.

My family enjoyed our stay with Vera. She is a lovely, helpful lady and her house is large and comfortable. She takes pride in her beautiful garden and my kids loved playing with Scooby and Igoo. Thanks Vera xx
We are so happy with our choice of spending a month in Vera’s villa. When we arrived it was better than we imagined it would be. The space is much bigger than the pictures make it seem especially the bathroom. We were greeted with fresh fruit, clean towels, and other goodies upon our arrival. The first week that we spent there, Vera made us a delicious breakfast each morning. Her banana pancakes are the best that I have had in Lovina. Vera is a lovely person and was incredibly helpful during our stay. She provided us with contacts for drivers, directions for restaurants and stores, and helped us order food. She even invited a friend over who brought some Balinese clothing for us to try on and buy in the comfort of our house (much better than the stores near Lovina Central). If we ever ran out of gas or water, Vera had it replaced quickly at a very low cost. She shared local fruits and rice pudding with us when we both became ill. We really enjoyed talking with her and getting to know her. Igo and Scooby are lovely and calm dogs and gave us great company while we were at home which happened to be very often because the villa was so peaceful. It is large, clean, with a modern bathroom. The kitchen has all necessary appliances with the exception of an oven, but who would want to bake in this heat? The wifi was good. We were able to check our emails regularly and even (website hidden) with family members. It can be a bit slow sometimes but it never bothered us. Bed sheets and towels were changed regularly and Vera kept the villa clean and tidy. The outside porch area was our favourite and we would often sit out there for hours reading, surrounded by the beauty of her garden. There are many birds, butterflies and dragonflies to watch as well. The villa is situated in a somewhat quiet area (you can never escape the sounds of roosters anywhere), off the main road. There is a street of restaurants about a 5 minute walk away that leads to the beach. The central area of Lovina (dolphin statue) is about a 20 minute walk away, but we preferred to stay closer to avoid tourists and overpriced restaurants. There are some great quality restaurants nearby including Warung Made and Warung Dolphin. There is also a little shop down the street, about a one minute walk, where we would buy snacks and drinks for very cheap. There is also a bigger market up the street where we could buy ingredients for meals. There are a lot of activities to do in the area including dolphin watching, snorkeling and diving, trekking, waterfalls and temples. Although we kept ourselves busy with the beach and activities, we spent much of our time at the Villa simply reading our books and relaxing. Our month in Bali couldn’t have been better. Thank you so...
Vera's garden house was a great place to stay in Lovina. She was very helpful when it came to setting up transportation and made us feel very welcome. She and her dogs, Scooby and Igo, were gracious hosts :)
Vera was a very friendly host and the dogs so cute! The flat is very spacious, surrounded by the well taken care of garden and a wall, which makes it quite secluded. The center of Lovina is within a walkable distance – I recommend taking that walk at least once via the beach!
Vera was a wonderful host. She welcomed us into her beautiful home and made breakfast for us every morning. Her dogs, Scooby and Igo, were super adorable and friendly. Vera's house is in a nice, quiet location, but there were plenty of restaurants nearby for us to walk to. Thank you for having us, Vera!
I really like the house of Vera. The garden is really beautifull. Vera is very hospitable and thoughtful. We really enjoyed every minute, tnx Vera
For anyone thinking of visiting Lovina, this is absolutely the place to stay. Tucked away on a small side street just 10 minutes from the beach, Vera's garden home is a spacious oasis where travelers can relax and feel as if they are surrounded by the comforts of their own home (working kitchen, big bathroom, comfortable beds...). Also adding to the comfort, Vera made us breakfast each morning, which was a real treat and very tasty! We looked forward to Vera's cheerful presence each day along with her two dogs (Igo and Scooby; both very sweet and gentle). Vera was great about helping us avoid "tourist" prices and gave us a lot of good tips for exploring the Lovina region. If/when we return to Lovina, we will definitely stay with Vera again! Great place with a fantastic host!
vera is the sweetest host we met! she is super helpful and friendly. her house is beautiful, very comfortable and clean. vera spoiled us with nice treats. we had a great time with scooby&igo, they are fun! we loved the sereen vibe of vera's garden so much that we decided to stay home very often :)
vera's house is very close to the main road but is really quiet. we would absolutely book her house again when we're in lovina!
Exactly what I was looking for. Area was quiet, back quit a ways from main road (500 meters?), and Vera arranged everything I could need, from scooter rental and repair (I crashed) to food delivery. The dogs are awesome as I was missing mine after 3 weeks on the road. The internet is right around what I have seen everywhere else in Bali - but worked well enough to write this review and do work. It actually slowed me down a bit which forced me to read - which was nice... Big beautiful garden, banana pancakes in the morning, with Mangos and such. Big house - easily accommodates 6.
I would highly recommend. I am not exactly sure what is considered the middle of town, but Vera's place is not far. A walk across the major street puts you around some resorts and beach. A bike or scooter ride gets you to the Dolphin statue where there are bars and restaurants... This place is solid.
Vera's house is wonderful and large with a gorgeous garden. It is also well appointed, can sleep 6-8 and the kitchen was sufficient for our needs. Vera is so kind, outgoing and helpful. She helped us with 6am visits to the market and often offered us treats. We very very appreciative of the WIFI and air-conditioning in the master bathroom. The house is also well located. I would suggest adding comfortable couches, a TV and an oven to improve it for families staying for an extended period of time.
