Welcome to The Green Forest Retreat!
This comfortable and luxurious 3BR/2BA property is located in a gated and amenity-rich community - 3 lakes (w/ a sand beach), 2 swimming pools (seasonally-available), tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer and baseball fields, volleyball courts, indoor games room (foosball, air hockey, pool table, etc), and a small but awesome convenience store named Archie’s Corner located right inside the community! Archie’s Corner is packed with all of the essentials (from subs and sandwiches, to firewood, coffee, and more) that you’ll ever need without having to leave the comfort of the gated community.
During the summer season, amenity access can be easily added to reservations for $25 per guest for the duration of your stay. This optional pass covers full access to all available amenities: e.g. swimming pools, lakes, community picnic areas, tennis/basketball courts, pickleball, and more.

The custom-built sauna, located next to the hot tub, comes with it’s own changing room - this sauna is a true Finnish-style experience, with cedar-lined walls and benches, a heater with rocks, and a wooden bucket and ladle to create steam (Löyly). You won’t experience anything like this at any other Airbnb.

This home is located in Penn Estates, which is as central of a location in the Poconos as you could possibly find! During the summer months, you will have lake and pool access, located right inside Penn Estates, just minutes from the home!
Guest access
This is a gated community. Community rules require that guests sign "short-term leases" with the community for the duration of their stay. These will be provided to guests following booking and at least 4 days prior to the arrival. To complete this paperwork, each guest must provide a copy of your drivers license and vehicle information.
Guests will be given a gate pass for the duration of their stay.
Guests will have full access to all of the property with the exception of 2 locked storage/linen closets.

🚣 Outdoor Adventures
On the Water: Enjoy the kayaks (seasonally available)! For your safety, life vests are required for all ages. When you’re back on land, please remember to lock the boats back up for the next guest 🛶.
The Hot Tub: To keep the water clear and the experience relaxing, we limit use to 4 guests at a time 🫧.
Garden Hose: If you use the outdoor hose, please ensure it is turned off completely as soon as you're done 💧.
