The location was great. In the middle of the center of town and of the beach. Taxis and busses pass regularly so getting around is a breeze ! Lots of different restaurants to try so that’s a lot of fun.. the supermarket is across the street which was very convenient. The staff …

Good for what it was. Located in the middle of town right across from the grocery store, not very close to the beach. Apartment was clean but shower was a little grimy.

Staying at a place directly at the beach in tulum is a total waste of money from my point o view, because the beach front is totally overpriced. This is a great location, because it is just between city center and the beach. Just make sure you do not have a room next to the main …

Amazing location and super helpful staff. It’s honestly the perfect middle point between the tulum hotel zone and tulum town. Definitely take advantage of the access to Amansala Beach as the views alone are well worth it.

The host Juan was very helpful and enthusiastic which made our stay much better! He happily provided us with extra towels, water bottles (lots!), and local recommendations throughout our stay. The room itself is good, but bare-boned and doesn't give off the hotel-feel. It was r…

Hi Shirley, I am sorry to hear the doorknob didnt get fixed but I checked the sheet in the restaurant we have that for the room problems that juan showed you. We didnt see you had written that one down. Its the best way to avoid something like this. We hop you decide to come back and we can offer you something for that inconvenience.

The Amansala Pueblo is a great deal for the price. This property is well located with a supermarket across the street, a bank to withdraw local currency, and the city center, all within walking distance. The rooms are clean and very spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpfu…

The reason we chose this room was because the description mentioned it was 5 minutes from the beach. However, it was more like a 15-20 drive to the beach. We decided to move to the other Amansala beach property for an additional fee. Would have appreciated more transparency in th…

Response from Melissa:
Hi Katherina, First, thank you for your stay. Honestly driving to the beach in taxi or public bus is 5 minutes. As for riding a bike it is 12 to 15 minutes depending upon where you are going. Certain restaurants or the ruins of the beach yes are farther, but to just get to the beach is much quicker then stated! There are also many benefits to staying in town, we are on the road to the beach and 5 min bike ride to the town or 2 minutes in taxi! Also the grocery store right across the street is super convenient. I hope you still had a good stay apart from this.
