The room is located on the first floor and giving on the main patio. It has en-suite bathroom with shower and A/C.
Halfway between the Bahia Palace and Jemaa El Fna square (4 minutes walking), near Palais Moulay Driss square (car access at 75 meters), our Riad welcomes all hedonism enthusiasts.
Entirely renovated, our Riad kept the dimensions and the most beautiful elements of the house which had been built several centuries ago on the premises. However, the house was the subject of an architectural revision which is resolutely contemporary.
The riad's spirit is to transcribe in the modernity all which makes the charm of the old Arabian-Andalusian palaces (patio, terraces, pond and fountain, menzeh and craft materials) while bringing volumes and lighting effects which gives a particular soul to the house. The decoration is voluntarily plain and gets away from all ideas of pastiche.
The house is composed of a large lounge and dining room, a patio around which a Moorish type lounge, an outdoor lounge and a splash pool are based on.
Upstairs, in the two wings of the house, 3 double rooms and a Junior Suite. Each one with private bathroom and air-conditioner.
And two solarium terraces overlooking the Koutoubia.
Elsa was a very good host. She was very helpfull in organizing to rent a car and giving good hints for Marrakech.
We enjoyed the place do to a very good design of the Riad, clear and tastefull architecture. A good service for breakfast and the room. We had every day new towels.
The Riad is close to the center and Elsa helped us to find our way.
We can recommend the place.
Sjuul & I stayed for 10 days at Elsa's riad and we had a lovely time. It was our first visit at Marrakech and to be honest, 10 days were a bit (too) long. But because Elsa's riad was so quiet and nice to relax that we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is good! We would deffinately recommend this. And the restaurant Pepenero around the corner is worth a visit!!
This is a lovely place to stay for a special treat - tucked behind a nondescript door this is a treasure of very high quality. The staff are very kind and friendly. The rooms are beautiful, with air conditioning if it's just too hot, the plunge pool and courtyard seating area are very enjoyable, and there's also a lovely rooftop terrace with sun loungers. The breakfast was delicious - fresh orange juice, fruit salad, yoghurt and pancakes. The location is very central, close to some interesting museums. Once you have mastered the short walk to the Jma el Fnaa you can't go wrong.
