Me and my wife stayed in Dennis place for 3 (website hidden) was a great experience. Dennis was a really good host and was very helpful. I wish I could extend my stay in this apartment for another month, unfortunately it was already booked. I prefer to call it luxury house, since everything we needed was available.
My parents stayed with Dennis while they were in town to visit me and my new baby. They said he was a very friendly host and that they would return! Dennis was also very flexible with our family's schedule, which was a big help since babies don't pay attention to the calendar.
My husband and I were in search of a rental for the month of July before we were able to move into our new place just outside of Boston. There were not many options out there for us considering we have a car to park (ideally off the street and not in a garage we'd have to pay for) and two animals (a dog and a cat). Dennis' house in Arlington had a lot to offer, whether we were looking for a single room or an entire apartment. We preferred the privacy of an entire apartment, especially considering our animals. He offered a great rate, the house is in a great location (proximate to Boston) and he was immediately responsive upon our inquiry and throughout the confirmation of our booking. He was also very flexible with move in and move out dates and overall, extremely accommodating. He greeted us when we arrived, he helped move some furniture and was always around during the day to answer any questions we had or to fix anything (ie internet, door hinge, etc). He did it all with a smile, too. We really enjoyed our time there and are grateful for Dennis' hospitality. The apartment we stayed in was somewhat dark (it's a basement apartment), but extremely private and one can come and go as s/he pleases - which was our priority. We highly recommend any of Dennis' properties - he's a great host!
Though we never actually met him, we found out Dennis is one caring guy! We greatly appreciated him giving us the use of the entire larger upstairs unit when conditions left the smaller garden level unit unavailable at the last minute. A few kinks were worked out with the steam heat--a bit scary with subzero temps outside-- but Dennis called someone and they came asap to help fix what was wrong. And we really appreciate the ability to have our pup with us during our stay. Very gracious host!
The reservation was canceled 12 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Dennis was a GREAT great person who helps me a lot in whatever I need, he took me to have a trip in Arlington, we went shopping, to the market and even the last day he took me to the airport. He was very nice and I enjoy his music. I trully recommend the appartment, great location, only 20 minutes by bus to Harvard Square, the neighborhood is very nice and quiet, but at the same time you havve everything you need such as supermarket, restaurants, etc. Thanks for all, I will come back!! Martin
You will indeed have privacy here...I wasn't bothered once during my stay. Dennis was very responsive to all my questions and even offered to help me get some food to stock the fridge. To anyone over 6 feet, the ceiling gets quite low in places....
