Overall Guest Satisfaction

  • Very friendly people with a nice, modern apartment. Comfortable stay. A little bit far removed from the city center but a quick taxi ride costs only 5 or 6 EUR. Hosts were very helpful with calling taxis for me. Overall, they see to your comfort and seem to enjoy engaging with their guests. I do recommend!

  • I really enjoyed staying at Sindy and Maksim house. It's a modern, very clean and warm flat in the Mustamae neighbour of Tallinn. It's very well served by public transport which is only a five minutes walk. The room is spacious, luminous, comfortably furnished. The two hosts gave me useful advices and provided me with a rechargeable card for buses, tram etc. and maps making very easy the first impact with an unknown city. I can only recommend the accomodation and the hosts.

  • Останавливался на одну ночь. Комната светлая и чистая, с балконом. Спится легко. Чуткие и отзывчивые хозяева - очень рад знакомству с Синди и Максимом!!!

  • Although we only stayed with Sindy & Maksim for 1 night and had to leave early the next morning we had a great stay. The room and bed were nice and warm and cosy (as it started to snow outside) and Sindy welcomed us with a beer and even gave us a christmas chocolate when we left. The B&B is out in the suburbs, but is easy to get to by trolleybus. Definitely recommended.

  • Sindy And Maksim are a very nice couple. I've stayed with them for 4 days. The apartment is clean and nice and the room they are renting out is quite spacious.

They were very helpful with giving directions to the old town center and with explaining things about Tallinn in general. They are really open people; I had a nice chat with Maksim over a beer one evening.

By coincidence, they were catching a plane 15 minutes before me so they were nice enough to give me a ride to the airport at 4:30 AM.

Even if their place seems quite far from the center, the public transport gets you there in about 30 minutes.

    All in all, great experience!

  • It was my first Airbnb experience & I couldn't have done a better choice!
Sindy & Maksim were travelling, so I got their home to myself for the week and felt like at home in Tallinn!
The stay was excellent. I confirm everything what has been told before about Sindy & Maksim's sense of hospitality and I completely agree with Jason!!

  • This was probably the best AirBnB experience so far. Sindy and Maksim are wonderful people. They made it possible for me to stay in their apprtment even though they were about to leave on holidays. They are extremely helpful and kind. The appartment itself is in Mustamäe which is about 15 min busride from the city centre, but very close to the Technical University. The apprtment just looks like on the pictures, very modern, clean and cosy. The same is valid for the room itself. This is a highly recommendable AirBnB experience. I am already looking forward to my next stay!

  • Sindy and Maksim were really nice hosts. They gave me advices to store my luggage in the city centre and get to the flat ( just 25 minutes by trolley bus from the centre). Sindy also gave me some tips about places to visit and restaurants.
The building is situated in a quiet and green area and the room, bright and spacious, has a balcony. The place is a perfect starting point to explore the city.
I really had a great time in Tallin so I highly recommend Sindy and Maksim's place.
    Thank you!

  • Sindy and Maksim we're super helpful right from the word go, ranging from giving plenty of advice about how to get to the apartment, great places to eat and drink, right through to where to store your luggage cheaply and conveniently in the centre of town (if you need to as we did). At the end of our stay they even kindly booked a taxi for us for our short trip to the airport.

The modern apartment is a 15-20 minute trolley bus ride south-west of the centre of Tallinn, giving you a great opportunity to see and feel what suburban life is like. The guest room is large and even has a balcony, and the wifi connection is great!

Tallinn is a wonderful city which is still relatively undiscovered by tourists and Sindy and Maksim are on hand to make sure you make the most of your stay. We also had lots of lovely chats about travelling and in particular Australia. We had a fantastic two night stay and would definitely recommend a stay here with this friendly and helpful couple.

  • On a hosting scale of 1 to 10 Sindy and Maksim were an 11. Probably the friendliest, more earnest hosters I've ever met with a real passion for what they are doing. The room was clean, smelt fresh and airy, the house was brand new and everything worked perfectly.

It's a little out of the city center and will take probably 20-25 minutes to get to the center including 5 minutes walking to the trolly bus stop, 5 minutes waiting for the bus and 15 minutes travel time to the city center. They are on a nice travel line and buses can go directly to the south side of the city center or alternatively on the north side then switch to a tram which gives you two different options for exploring the city or funky areas such as Telliskivi. A taxi late at night, if you are careful with your selection (the prices vary wildly but are all advertised on the windows of the taxis), can be had from the city center back to their apartment for as little as EUR6.

I always looked forward to coming home at the end of my days exploring Tallinn to an immaculate apartment and comfortable and clean bed, and room with a nice sunny balcony and green outlook.

I'd definitely stay with them again if I was in Tallinn again.

We met in London Stansted airport five years ago when Sindy was studying in London and Maksim in the States. We have spent a year in Australia together, living and working in Brisbane and Melbourne. On our way travelling back home to Estonia we fell in love with Malaysia and Indonesia and wish to go back one day. Since we moved back to Tallinn we had the pleasure of hosting many of our friends from around the world on our couch. We moved house in the fall and have a big guestroom now where we would love to accomodate new and interesting people from all over the world. Sindy studies digital photography, loves films, art and literature and baking cakes. Maksim has studied tourism, business and adventure sports. He is into music. Together we like to travel, ride bikes and eat at all the cool new restaurants in town.
