ABOUT THE FLAT
The flat is my nest-home when I am in Trieste, so it is decorated and furnished the way I like it: I hope you enjoy it as well.
The 19th century building has been recently renewed. The flat itself is about 10 years old but it is in very good conditions. It is a a 70 sq meters flat, second floor with elevator and security door. There is no view over the city but we have a small terrace and the area is quiet.
In the flat you will have: entrance with a big corridor and a big shelf book on the left side; one open space with living room and kitchen. On the right side a small access room opens to double bedroom and the bathroom. The sofa bed, that can become a second double-bed, is located in a room called "loggia", a sort of windowed veranda with NO door. Here can sleep two extra persons.
The living room is furnished with a table with four chairs and a cupboard. There is also a wall shelf book and a storage space where our private independent heating is located together with the stuff for the cleaning (vacuum cleaner, bucket and mop). The living room has an annexed small terrace with table and chairs for the summertime and also a windowed room called “loggia” with sofa, TV, ironing board and iron.
The kitchen has a table that we normally use for our meals, a sink, a gas stove, the oven and the fridge with freezer. There is no microwave and no dish washer. You will find glasses and cups, dishes, cutlery, cookware and the coffee pot.
The bedroom has a big double bed (180x200), two night tables, one escritoire, one wardrobe where you can store your clothes and personal belongings.
The bathroom has a tub, the WC, the sink, one bathroom cabinet, the wash machine and a bin.
The flat has independent heating for the wintertime but there is no air-conditioning for the hotter season.
It is not permitted to smoke inside the flat, but you can smoke in the terrace.

We stayed with my family (my wife and pour son) in the Anna's apartment in Trieste for two weeks in August 2015; just returned. We had a wonderful time and the best impression, both from the apartment and from its host Anna. She did everything so that we feel at home. And the apartment is great! It is located very conveniently, 4 minutes from the main train station and all the stops of busses etc; and may be 5-10 minutes walking to the very centre of Trieste. Thus the location is indeed extremely convenient. And the apartment is also extremely good! there is everything you need, and even more than one usually gets in such rented places. I already have some experience with those, and I can certify that this apartment is the best I ever lived in! I highly recommend it to everyone; and if we happen to be in Trieste again, I will definitely try to get to the same place. Thanks, Anna!
Grazie mile, Anna.
Honestly I couldn't speak more highly about our stay. The apartment is truly lovely with a terrace just right for sipping espresso. It is located close to train station, to the harbor, etc. Yet the street is very quiet and safe. Anna was a terrific host and set us up very well so we didn't need to immediately run to the market as soon we got in, which was a godsend given how jet lagged we were.
I already knew the apartment since I've been in it in the winter 2013. I took this appartment again because I really felt well in it.
My journey was perfect and if I have to go back in Trieste I will definitely ask for this flat again.
Anna replies all mails very quickly and makes everything easy.
I thinks that it is a perfect place to stay.
We really enjoyed our stay in the Anna's apartment which is, in one word, more beautiful than it is showed on the pictures : very clean, well furnished with an impressive books corner. Anna, as well as her mother, are a very welcoming persons. Although we arrived late in the evening, we found Signora Renata just in the entrance of the building where she waited for us. During our stay, Anna was very communicative and helped us through their advice for most of what we need to know at Trieste. We strongly encourage travellers, as well as families, to choose this stay, where they cannot be disappointed.
Anna was the most welcoming and lovely host you could ask for. The apartment was perfect and Anna always went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and happy. Always smiling, Anna is truly a wonderful host and made my stay in Trieste even better with her kindness and care. Grazie mille!
