About this listing
My apartment is located in the "Nørrebro" area of Copenhagen, within walking distance of Sankt Hans Torv, the beautiful gardens of Assistens Kirkegaarden and the city lakes!
The apartment was fully renovated in 2010, transformed from a two-room apartment, into a studio flat, with a new bathroom and kitchen! The apartments is full of light, situated on the 4th floor and facing east, with the sun coming through the apartment in the morning - but don't worry, if you want to sleep you can just pull down the blackout curtains! The style is modern and minimalistic, with a fully equipped kitchen ready for preparing any kind of meal, a large bed for two (140 x 200 cm), and a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) if you want to make room for two more :)
The apartment has a large clothes rail, a desk and a well stocked bookcase. The turntables and the vinyl record collection that you see on the pictures has been replaced by a Roland Electric Piano.
From the apartment there is only a few minutes walk to a range of different supermarkets and plenty of different small food shops with the possibility of buying cheap and great food.
During your stay you can expect a lively and authentic Copenhagen experience, the flat being located in the most vibrant and culturally divers part of Copenhagen. All kinds of different nationalities come together and this really comes to show, when you visit one of the many great restaurants or café's in the area. The area is also great for shopping, with a wide selection of different brands and small local stores. You can print my Guidebook for more specific recommendations!
Two minutes away is "Nørrebrogade", which is the main street leading into Copenhagen city centre. Busses are running every 2 minutes, straight into the very heart of Copenhagen - it takes about 10 minutes and cost 24 DKKR for a return ticket.
If you want to stay among the locals and at the same time close to all the cultural attractions that Copenhagen has to offer - this apartment is for you!
The apartment is my home and therefore I only rent out when I am away travelling myself. If the day of my departure and the day of your arrival is not the same, I have several good friends in the neighbourhood who will be there to let you in to the apartment, show you how everything works and give you the key. If you have questions before and/or during you stay, you can always give me a call, send a text or an email and I will get back to you asap.
No noise after 10 pm on weekdays and 11 pm on weekends.
Of couse you can hang out and listen to music after 10 or 11, but just respect the neighbours if they complain, which they never do :)
Our return visit to Jacob's apartment . Location fantastic and a nice modern apartment still with a warm cosy feel to it. Jacob was a wonderful host. Bed comfortable and quiet street. Nice to have kitchen facilities even if we didn't take advantage of it! Too many cafés in the area to tempt you! Thanks again.
Jacob's apartment is in a great location. It is very clean, modern and cosy. Jacob was very easy to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Flexible check out time was great. Bottle of wine to welcome us was a lovely thought too! We enjoyed our stay in Copenhagen very much. Thank you.
Jacob's flat was an amazing place to be staying in during my short trip! It is clean and well equipped. He had maps and travel books to help you get around CPH. All in all, highly recommended!
Jacob has been a very nice host. He gave us the key personally and showed us everything we needed to know. The flat is awesome, perfect for a couple and nicely located in a hot spot area of Copenhagen.
When I come back to Copenhagen, I would go with Jacob again.
Jacob's apartment is located in a cool, central area with loads of bars and nice boutiques. The flat has everything one needs during a stay in the city: It is neat, full of light, quiet and nicely furnished.
The communication with Jacob was just excellent and really friendly.
I do highly recommend Jacob's apartment for a trip to Copenhagen!
Jacob and his flat was fantastic (and clean). Stayed there with my friend for several days and it was central and convenient. In addition to being in a great location and clean flat, as a host Jacob was super responsive and gave us some great recommendations. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Copenhagen.
Actually one word is enough for Jacob: perfect.
If you want to read more :) Communication was always friendly and uncomplicated, he answered to all our questions immediately and gave us helpful recommendations for our stay in Copenhagen. His nice and clean apartment is close to the centre of the city and is appointed with everything you need. When we'll come back to Denmark one day we'll definitely ask Jacob to be our host again :)

About the Host, Jacob
I'm a 27-year-old medical student from Copenhagen! Apart from studying I produce electronic music based on my love for playing jazz piano. I love to hang out with my friends either at one of the many great local cafes or at the uni campus, only a few minutes away. I travel a lot, especially during winter, where skiing in the French Alps is one of my favourites!
