Studio flat by Sankt Hans Torv

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Peter Fabers Gade, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 2200, Denmark

The Space

My apartment is located in the "Nørrebro" area of Copenhagen, within walking distance of Sankt Hans Torv, the beautiful gardens of Assistens Kirkegaarden and the city lakes!

The apartment was fully renovated in 2010, transformed from a two-room apartment, into a studio flat, with a new bathroom and kitchen! The apartments is full of light, situated on the 4th floor and facing east, with the sun coming through the apartment in the morning - but don't worry, if you want to sleep you can just pull down the blackout curtains! The style is modern and minimalistic, with a fully equipped kitchen ready for preparing any kind of meal, a large bed for two (140 x 200 cm), and a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) if you want to make room for two more :)
The apartment has a large clothes rail, a desk (with a free to use iMack computer, not on the pictures), a well stocked bookcase and my set of turntables and record collection.

From the apartment there is only a few minutes walk to a range of different supermarkets and plenty of different small food shops with the possibility of buying cheap and great food.

During your stay you can (email hidden)ly and authentic Copenhagen experience, the flat being located in the most vibrant and culturally divers part of Copenhagen. All kinds of different nationalities come together and this really comes to show, when you visit one of the many great restaurants or café's in the area. The area is also great for shopping, with a wide selection of different brands and small local stores. You can print my Guidebook for more specific recommendations!
Two minutes away is "Nørrebrogade", which is the main street leading into Copenhagen city centre. Busses are running every 2 minutes, straight into the very heart of Copenhagen - it takes about 10 minutes and cost 24 DKKR for a return ticket.

If you want to stay among the locals and at the same time close to all the cultural attractions that Copenhagen has to offer - this apartment is for you!

The apartment is my home and therefore I only rent out when I am away travelling myself. If the day of my departure and the day of your arrival is not the same, I have several good friends in the neighbourhood who will be there to let you in to the apartment, show you how everything works and give you the key. If you have questions before and/or during you stay, you can always give me a call, send a text or an email and I will get back to you asap.

  • I recently enjoyed my second relatively lengthy stay at Jacob's place. (see my February 2013 review)

Once again, Jacob was the perfect host - and staying in his apartment in Nørrebro helped to make January 2014 my favourite month so far in 2014.

  • We had a wonderdul stay in Copenhagen at Jacob's apartment !
It was nice and clean, nicely accommodated and with a good sense of design !
Just the right size for 3 or 4 people.
Jacob wasn't in the city during our stay but was always available to answer our questions or give us advices on anything !
I would definitely advice anyone to stay at Jacob's.
    :)

  • Thanks Jacob!
It was a pleasure to be in your flat.

  • My girlfriend and me had a very pleasant stay at Jacob's apartment, which can be described as pretty cozy and stylish. Although it is just an one-room location, Jacob created a wonderful place for spending several days in that city. More precisely, his apartment is situated in the town center of Copenhagen. So, you just need couple of minutes by foot or bus. Furthermore, Jacob's apartment was very clean and tidy, everything was provided. To be honest, we felt like already being part of that city. Regarding Jacob, he is a communicative and helpful host who answered many questions.
Thank you for everything. If we come back, we will be definitely booking your place again!

  • Hi All! Jacob is the perfect guest! So careful of you and helpful. The apartment was much more comfortable than described. Really really clean, nice, full of light. When you arrive you can relax beause all you need for the first days is at your disposal (fruit, milk, juice, ....).
Cophenagen is in your hands... five minutes from Jacob's Home and you are in each central place of the city.
From the airport there is also a direct bus line (A5) that drives you at the corner of the house street.
What can I say? Cross your fingers and hope that the apartment is free for your stay.

  • First of all, the flat and the neighbourhood is perfect for city trip.
We really enjoyed staying at Jacob's place. The whole appartment was very clean and tidy with enough room for four people.
The kitchen is very well equipped with all kinds of stuff you need, even a nespresso machine was provided with caps and there were some things in the fridge for the "first" breakfast.
I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Copenhagen.

On our next visit to Copenhagen, we surely would book this accomodation again.

  • We had a really nice stay in Jacob's flat! It's exactly as it appears in the pictures. Great location and we always felt safe in the neighborhood. Jacob was super nice, very helpful, and even had some staples for us so we wouldn't have to run out to the store right away...much appreciated! We had three girls staying in the flat over a long weekend and were comfortable with one sleeping on the pull out sofa. It was a bit noisy with the windows open at night but then you get to experience the sounds of Copenhagen :)

  • A very clean, tidy, tranquil sanctuary (email hidden)ly, fun part of town.
Would love to return, Jacob was a great host. He was not there, but left very generous, useful essentials in the fridge, which was very much appreciated on arrival. The Nespresso machine was amazing...we loved everything about this apartment - perfect for a couple. It is exactly as it looks in the photos.

  • We had a fantastic stay at Jacob’s apartment. We can’t imagine staying anywhere better. The apartment is beautifully designed, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean. It was a great neighborhood to explore and the apartment was close to public transit. Jacob met us at the apartment when we arrived and he was very welcoming. He made a point of being contactable during our visit to answer any questions we might have. He also left us guidebooks to use, which was very thoughtful. We would definitely stay there again. It was a great apartment. Thanks, Jacob!

  • What a wonderful place to stay while in Copenhagen. I didn't want to leave! Jacob made sure my friend and I had everything we needed. The flat is very clean, has a full-fitted kitchen and the bed is very comfortable. The area has fantastic cafés, bars, restaurants and shops and it is only a 20-minute walk to Nyhavn and the city centre. Highly recommend you stay here during your stay to Copenhagen. I hope to stay there again in the future! Thank you so much Jacob!

About
I'm a 27-year-old medical student from Copenhagen! Apart from studying I produce electronic music based on my love for playing jazz piano. I love to hang out with my friends either at one of the many great local cafes or at the uni campus, only a few minutes away. I travel a lot, especially during winter, where skiing in the French Alps is one of my favourites!
