Roxanne was a wonderful hostess and made me feel very welcome during my short stay. She provided me insights to the neighborhood and helped me find a great place for dinner. She even provided me a nice walking route to the location so I could get to take in some of the character of East Harlem.
Roxanne was an excellent host with lots of knowledge about the area. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The bathroom is very nice and the kitchen has all that you need. You would be wise to stay here as Roxanne is very kind and patient and willing to help you with directions and what fun things to see if you would like. She is a very warm person who makes you feel comfortable and at home. She also did a bit of hand holding for me when I would ask her where I was and how to get to a certain spot. A vital thing in this city. Roxanne also lays out the maps well and explains how to use the subways and buses. A great place to stay. Do not be afraid to stop and pick Aunt Roxy's brain! She is very cultured and knowledgeable about many different things, places, and people. You will feel enlightened. I plan on staying again at some point.
I had a great time over at Roxanne's apartment. It was well-located, accessible through the lines 6, 2 and 3 subway. It was rather a quiet neighborhood, despite it being so close to the Central Park and the Museum Mile. The apartment itself was spotless, with an elevator, laundry facilities and gym. Roxanne was a great host, always on hand whenever you have questions about New York, sharing her coffee and even walked and took photos of me along the High Line which was really special. It was a great AirBnB experience! Thank you so much Roxanne!
I really enjoyed staying at Roxanne's place. The apartment was nicely decorated in minimalist style and warm tones. It was spotlessly clean. The room was just as the photo described and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of closet space and storage nooks for my things. Roxanne was warm and welcoming and fun to talk to. She greeted me at the door, showed me what was what and offered tea or coffee. She made suggestions for things to do and places to eat and had a drawer full of brochures in my room. I would definitely book with her again.
Roxanne is a wonderful hostess and I felt totally at ease in her space; she was warm and non intrusive at the same time.
The chic bedroom was perfect for me, bed extremely comfortable and a warm room.
The apartment is secured with a code key lock pad, and there is an elevator, so no fear in bringing your bags upstairs!
The building entrance is locked at all times with security camera in the foyer. I felt safe.
Really nice host and really awesome place. It is worth to live in here for the price!
