It varies depending on the time I have and the interest of the guest. I have taken my guests to museums, restaurants, bars, movies, tours of Harlem, artists' talks etc.
The close proximity to Central Park, the easy transportation, the feeling of a neighborhood as opposed to the busy feeling of Midtown.

The host Roxanne made me feel very, very welcome. Such good and friendly vibes in this place! Spotlessly clean. I had not realised before the booking that this was a partitioned off section, without a proper door, but sliding panels, rather than a door and lock, but having said that it all felt safe and very comfortable. The location is super-central and very easy with public transport! I highly recommend this!
I like staying there. Central Park and many museums are in walking distance. Her apartment is very clean. The bed is comfortable. Roxanne is very helpful, she went over the metro and bus system with me and gave me a lot of good suggestions.
Roxanne was very welcoming. She has thought through all the details to make her guests feel comfortable. The room was just as described, most enjoyable was the walk to the apartment alongside the park which is just a block away.
Roxanne was an absolute legend! So incredibly helpful and very good at pointing me in the right direction. Bed and room were supreme! Would stay with Roxanne again in a heart beat!
I had to find a place on short notice and Roxanne immediately responded. She has a very warm personality and makes great conversation. The apartment is very nice: the two rooms are comfortable, very clean and the location next to Central Park and two main subway lines is perfect. You can enjoy the park, discover the neigborhood or go anywhere fast. I immediately felt at home and am coming back!
Top notch. Roxanne was so professional, helpful, friendly, cool... I could continue! The place itself offered everything you could need in an alt neighbourhood giving you a very different perspective of the city, and with the subway lines everywhere was so accessible.
Roxanne was welcoming and friendly. The space was clean, quiet and private with a quick walk to Central Park and the subway!

I have lived in Spain, France, Helsinki and Milan. I speak English, Italian and French with a knowledge of Spanish.
Some of my favorite places in the world are the Seychelles, Sardinia, Italy and the countryside in the northeast of America.
5 things that I cannot live without are good books, music, my juicer, good quality tea and a feather down pillow.
My style of travel is where authenticity meets luxury.
My style of hosting is to meet and greet you warmly. Answering any questions you have about the apartment and the city; then advising you in the right direction, arming you with a map, IN Where NY magazines that are chock full of information and wishing you the best with your set of keys in hand and the freedom to choose your path in this great Big Apple!
Pretty please do not request a booking more than two months ahead (as I may not be available and do not wish to cancel anyone's trip unexpectedly.) Also please reply with a profile photo, a bit about yourself and why you are visiting New York.
