Other Things to Note
We have just started a Healing Arts Collective where local practitioners come here to share their skills and practices by offering classes and workshops in our on site yoga studio. Most offerings are by donation. Feel free to enhance your experience here by enjoying yoga and other classes here.
No smoking, no pets. Please bring your own campfire wood for outdoor fires or gather it for free on the forest floor. The wood you find stacked here is for heating the cabin indoors. We welcome people looking for peace and quiet and a reconnection with nature. This cabin is part of Nurture Through Nature retreat center, with a few other cabins and a yurt. Looking for quiet, mindful guests with a caretaker philosophy; for the cabin, the land and yourselves. We ask you to leave it as pristine as you find it so that those that follow you may enjoy fully. Thank you, Jen
Wonderful host, beautiful surroundings.
Exactly as described, better in person than in the pictures.
Perfect if your looking for a simple rustic experience in the woods of Maine.
Loved the cabin! There was a fresh foot or so of snow and it was absolutely magical. We had everything we needed, and appreciated Jen's help getting the wood stove started, and also lending a hand getting our gear up the slippery hill! I would love to return and check things out in another season!
Everything was absolutely perfect and peaceful topped with amazing people!
I definitely wanna go back!
Host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome... She even gave us butter for our English muffins, helped us find hiking trails and was warm and cheerful.
Location and cabin exactly as described, if not dreamier than described. Gorgeous spot. Peaceful perfect get away. Lovely place to drop out of rat race and reconnect with your loved one and natural world. Will definitely return!!!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and our experience was great! We had a lovely time and enjoyed multiple hikes nearby. Our host was very welcoming and helpful and the cabin contained everything we needed!
My partner and I came here for a relaxing honeymoon. We loved the quiet, the woods, and the rustic nature of the retreat. The Robin's Nest was the perfect size for two people, and was outfitted with many helpful amenities. Our massages with Jesi and Marci were amazing, and our private sauna session too. Britt, the caretaker was in touch soon after our arrival, so we felt we could reach out to her if we needed anything. We loved how close it all is to fun things to do, like paddling on the Saco and all the restaurant choices of North Conway. We really appreciated the environmental focus of the retreat center, with the composting toilets, solar electricity, and compost. We recommend it!
My girlfriend and I had an exceptional time in the Robin's Nest cabin. Jen has cultivated a truly peaceful environment, and staying there makes you appreciate all that's taken for granted back home. The sauna was a highlight and shouldn't be missed. Even the composting toilet was luxurious! The cabin is at the base of Pleasant Mountain and there were tons of great hikes nearby. The nearby town of Bridgton was also really charming, and contained whatever we needed for groceries, a dinner out, and even a movie. We'll definitely be back!

I am from Maine and have created an earth~friendly retreat center, Nurture Through Nature. I love nature and learning what the natural world has to teach. I also love sharing the land and our eco-cabins and yurts with people interested in exploring simple living, green living and an alternative energy lifestyle. I also appreciate the healing arts, such as yoga, meditation, massage therapy and dance; and offer those services here through an amazing group of local healing arts practitioners.
My favorite things are really good coffee, dark chocolate, music, photography, exploring in nature, quiet places, canoeing, hiking, biking and my cat, Molly.
