Visiting Seattle and looking for a comfortable place to stay? I invite you to stay in the extra bedroom in my home.
The bedroom and private bathroom are bright and comfortable. Several windows offer you a lot of natural light during the day. There is a firm double-sized futon bed with your own private bathroom and plenty of closet space. There is a hair dryer and iron available.
It’s a 2 bedroom townhouse, with both rooms on the 3rd floor and the open living room/kitchen on the 2nd floor. You are welcome to use the kitchen (vegetarian food preferred) and living area. Washer & Dryer are also available, along with free WIFI. If I’m home, I will make breakfast for you. Otherwise, I will ensure the kitchen is stocked with breakfast items that you are welcome to, along with plenty of tea and coffee.
The area is surrounded by 2 pretty parks, Judkins and Sam Smith. I love to walk/bike along the I90 bike trail, through the tunnel and down the stairs to Lake Washington or up the hill to the Coleman Park.
* Driving: Easy access to I90 for anyone that needs to travel to the Eastside, it takes just a few minutes to get to the on ramp. It’s about a 15 minute drive to downtown Seattle. There is plenty of free street parking available.
* Bus: There are several routes within walking distance. Route 48 brings you to the University District and Green Lake and the Mt. Baker Light rail station. Routes: 4, 7, and 8 bring you downtown. The fastest route downtown, which takes about 15 minutes, is walking (10 mins) to the Rainier Freeway station and taking any bus to Seattle.
* Walking: It’s about a 10 minute walk to the nearest grocery store and Starbucks. It takes about 20/30 minutes to walk to the International District and to the CenturyLink/Safeco stadiums.
We had a very comfortable stay at Patricia's house. Patricia was kind and attentive and gave good instructions prior to arrival as well as when we were there. The room was comfortable and clean and the location was good. Close enough to walk to downtown in about 20-25 minutes or just take one of the numerous buses.
We couldn't have asked for any more. Thanks Patricia!
Patricia was one of the nicest host I ever met. With my friend Nicola we felt at home in her place and had the pleasure to enjoy some time with her, chatting and eating the delicious breakfast she prepared. Her place is clean, warm, comfortable, the room is spacious and with a big view, the location close to Capitol Hill (nightlife) and downtown. We had a great experience and I hope to come back to Patricia's home when visiting Seattle again.
This was our first airbnb experience and we loved it. Patricia was an amazing host, a very friendly and VERY helpful person who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and even took us around the city when she had time. She pointed out the bus stops and grocery stores to help us get more closely acquainted with the area.
Her house and the room were very clean and well maintained and easily accessible. She is also a very good cook. Highly recommend staying at her place!!
It is a clean and great place to stay. The house is not far away to the downtown Seattle. Patrichia is a nice and funny roommate. She knows Seattle very well, so she always give some usable suggestions about the trip and live at Seattle.
I stayed at Patricia's place during a recent recon trip to Seattle as I'm considering moving there. Patricia's place was by far the nicest place I've stayed at via airbnb thus far. It is REALLY nice and a real bargain vs. what else is out there...the room is large, and the table/desk substantial which was great for me to be able to work/be productive. Also, the private bath was a welcome addition and I was able to unpack my personal items and toiletries and really feel at home. She also allowed me to do my laundry which is conveniently located right next to the bedroom. Oh, and the goodie basket she provided was a very nice touch as well!!
As far as Patricia herself, I can't say enough...she was so helpful with transportation, restaurant suggestions and even Seattle networking...we've subsequently connected on (website hidden) and I'm happy to say I've made a new friend/professional contact in the process.
If you are looking for a really nice place to stay that is an exceptional value (clean, comfortable and convenient) in Seattle than I would definitely recommend Patricia's place.
We had the best experience we could expect when booking on Airbnb and much more!
Patricia is an exceptional host: she is always here to help and to give very good advice on what to do in Seattle. She has a deep knowledge of Seattle and surroundings (restaurants, activities, ...). She is very nice, never intrusive and always in a good mood.
The house is just perfect, very well kept, very clean with all facilities you could expect. The room is really bright, and the private bathroom is great!
Patricia is also a great cooker, and her breakfasts are delicious.
You can take the bus easily to go downtown and also rent a car at the ariport which is not far from Patricia's house by lightrail. It's also very pleasant to walk in the neighborhood, in the Parks or to the Lake Washington.
If you want to visit Seattle, don't hesitate, you couldn't find a better place to stay, especially at this price!
Patricia is a wonderful host. The house is impeccable and extremely comfortable (probably one of the cleanest airbnb we've stayed at).
It was very personalized, with a small basket of candies, chocolate and two bottled water.
She gave awesome recommendations on places to visit in Seattle, and we ended kayaking in the lake, seeing salmons jumping up a dam, and also explored a cute town.
The best part of the entire experience was the breakfast in bed. Patricia is an amazing cook! We had the best spiced tea, wonderful eggy quiche and fresh fruits. It was one of our best mornings in Seattle.
Wish I had more time to get to know her better.
