This beautiful eco-station in a rural community in the Osa Peninsula will take your breath away. No many communities here can offer you a combination of culture and nature as ours. It's worth it.
Our little cabin is built so visitors can learn from nature as they enjoy relaxing vacations.
We are located near a whitewater river (Rincon river), just 4 Km from Indigenous community, 4 Km from Corcovado National Park boundary and 8 Km from Los Patos Ranger Station.
We have a canopy tour nearby, 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes in a taxi. We have around chocolat tour, birdwatching tours, waterfall, gold panning in the goldminers community among many others.
At the cabin you will find a big room with full bed and twin bed, inside private bathroom and a deck where you can hang out and read books.
We have a small kitchenette where you will find the basics to cook. We have a cooler with lots of ice to keep your food and beverages (this means no frigde but we can store some items in ours)
I am a failry travelled biologist and I love to share my vision with people from around the world.
Let me welcome you in our house (+ husband and 2 dogs and toddler Martino) and show you the Pura Vida style!
You will have access to your private cabin as well as the Monkey Trail, an educational small trail where you will learn all about monkeys.
Interaction with guests
I am here most of the time. I am very sociable and I like to know my guests but I also respect the ones that like to be secluded :)
Other things to note
We are just right next to Corcovado and the Ngobe Indigenous Reserve.
No smoking in bedrooms or the property. Smoking in the front gate allowed.
We expect guest respect we live in a neighborhood as well next to the forest so be silent after 10 p.m - 11 p.m would be a good idea to respect both people and nature.
Pets are admitted if you are the only guests at the house.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
I am from Costa Rica, I live in the rainforest. I love languages and learn them fast. I lived in France when I was little. I am a biologist and study monkeys, and I have a passion to teach other what I know about and for sure you will learn a lot of Costarican culture and the Osa Peninsula history while here. We know the most adventurous hidden places. I travel every year. This is my Saimiri Eco-Station in the Osa Peninsula.
