This beautiful eco-station in a rural community in the Osa Peninsula will take your breath away. No many communities here can offer you a combination of culture and nature as ours. It's worth it.

The space

Our little cabin is built so visitors can learn from nature as they enjoy relaxing vacations.

We are located near a whitewater river (Rincon river), just 4 Km from Indigenous community, 4 Km from Corcovado National Park boundary and 8 Km from Los Patos Ranger Station.

We have a canopy tour nearby, 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes in a taxi. We have around chocolat tour, birdwatching tours, waterfall, gold panning in the goldminers community among many others.

At the cabin you will find a big room with full bed and twin bed, inside private bathroom and a deck where you can hang out and read books.

We have a small kitchenette where you will find the basics to cook. We have a cooler with lots of ice to keep your food and beverages (this means no frigde but we can store some items in ours)

I am a failry travelled biologist and I love to share my vision with people from around the world.

Let me welcome you in our house (+ husband and 2 dogs and toddler Martino) and show you the Pura Vida style!

Guest access

You will have access to your private cabin as well as the Monkey Trail, an educational small trail where you will learn all about monkeys.

Interaction with guests

I am here most of the time. I am very sociable and I like to know my guests but I also respect the ones that like to be secluded :)

Other things to note

We are just right next to Corcovado and the Ngobe Indigenous Reserve.

My husband and I stayed at Daniela's place during the last stretch of our honeymoon in Costa Rica. When we turned onto her road she was out front right away to greet us. Her place is so cool. You definitely get the feel that you are in the rainforest when you are staying at her place. Everything was clean and we loved her outdoor kitchen. She gave us suggestions for our stay.We really enjoyed hanging out with her and getting to know her. Daniela is a great host.

Daniela was a fantastic host! We loved our intimate Tico stay with her and her family. She was so helpful in setting up transportation, and information regarding guided tours- be sure to do the Corcovado park hike with Dante Lodge and kayak in the mangroves with Flacco in Playa Blanca. And for transportation- ask for Flor, she's great! And pick Daniela's brain regarding monkeys- she has lots of info If your a flora and fauna nerd, you will love the area! The Osa peninsula is teaming with stunning beauty, from the Tico people to the biodiversity. It was our second visit to Costa Rica, and we'll be back! Pura Vida Mucho gracias Daniela, for a great start of our visit. Michelle & Denise Vancouver Island, BC Canada

I am from Costa Rica, I live in the rainforest. I love languages and learn them fast. I lived in France when I was little. I am a biologist and study monkeys, and I have a passion to teach other what I know about and for sure you will learn a lot of Costarican culture and the Osa Peninsula history while here. We know the most adventurous hidden places. I travel every year. This is my Saimiri Eco-Station in the Osa Peninsula.
