The apartment is a 3-bedroom in a lovely building, I live in one of the bedrooms in the apartment.

This listing is for a cozy little bedroom, it has a full size bed that can sleep 2 people, tall shelves and there is also space under the bed for bags. It's probably better for one person though I often have couples in here who squeeze in :)

There is one bathroom in the apartment, it is modern, large and is shared.

I provide clean bedding and a towel for each guest.

The best part of being in the city is that you can walk everywhere :)

There are also several citi bike locations nearby where you can easily rent bikes

  • Gully was great. Everything was clean, convenient and easy. Highly recommend.

  • Had a great time staying at Gully's apartment, he's an excellent host providing lots of local suggestions for everything. Overall, a wonderful experience.

  • Gully was not friendly at all with us and the other French neighbors. The little room was far too warm and there was no way to turn down the heat and we caught a cold. We will recommend this room only for its great location.

  • We stayed 3 nights at Gully and it was really great! The apartment and the room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable though the room itself is small. But that was no problem. Gully already told that in his description and there's enough space under the bed for the bags. The subway isn't far away so every destination is reached fast. All in all I can recommend Gully!

  • Stayed with Gully last week.
The place was great. In a perfect neighborhood. We we're able to walk almost everywhere, and it was really close to subways as well.
Gully wasn't there very often (neither were we though!) but when he was he was very nice and great to deal with.
We would stay again for sure.

  • Gully's place and Gully himself were both right on the spot. before my arrival he was very informative, and very helpful. and the stay was seamless you can say, he totally let you have your own space but at the same time gives you everything you need to know.
the room was awesome, everything right on the spot.
The location is great, you got everything you need in a hand reach basically. and the neighborhood feels very safe to walk alone at night.
so do yourself a favor and book this room and free your mind of this worry for your trip.

  • Our stay with Gully was good. The room is very small but clean. The bed is good. Gully is friendly but quiet and so is the dog. If you need directions or an address to have a nice breakfast or lunch he'll tell you. The location is in a neighborhood that has that real NYC feeling. Vibrant, artistic and edgy. We had a lot of fun!

  • Gully is a very resourceful person. Upon arrival you receive a package of things to do in New York, places to see, and shops and food around the area. He is also very pragmatic. He places reminders about rules and makes sure that you understand them beforehand, available for further explanation if necessary. The room is as described—cozy, with a window and a shelf, nothing too special. The areas that you share are very accessible—you just have to clean up after yourself! The dog is there but it is as relaxed as Gully is. Overall the location and atmosphere is very reasonable for the price, and is definitely worth booking. --Ethan

  • Gully is such a great host! His dog was incredibly cute and his apartment really makes you feel like you're at home! I definitely recommend him for those traveling to New York. And not only he is a great host, he is very friendly. Thank you again Gully for letting my boyfriend and I stay at your lovely place! Hope to see you again when we go back to New York! :)

About
Originally from Australia, I moved to the bright lights of New York in early 2010 and working at a digital creative agency. I spend a lot of time at work during the week, I like to go out, but also enjoy chilling out at home and watching sports/documentaries or a movie. I like to keep the whole Airbnb thing pretty casual, I'm here to help if you have questions but otherwise I'm happy to let you do your thing, I haven't even met some of the guests which is fine with me if that's what they want.
