  • Patrick and Tamara were very nice, and most of all they were understanding of our need for a flexible schedule when booking. They made us feel very much at home. This is an excellent place to stay, it has absolutely everything you need for a prolonged stay. It is very private, if you're looking for that sort of experience.

  • We use Tamara and Patrick's casita as our base of ops in Albuquerque as natives returning to visit family. The Congress Heights area where they are located is on the west side of ABQ and the Rio Grande. Absolutely great for that part of town but easy access to the whole area. AS we've noted in previous posts, Tamara and Patrick are excellent hosts, very attentive to the guests' needs and interests. But they also are not too present. The casita is a clean, private, secure, and quiet place for a single or couple. Everything you need and no worries about safety. There are plenty of good New Mexican restaurants on ABQ's west side and other shopping if needed. You need a car - very limited public trans. And bicycling in ABQ is for combat veterans. There is a nice little park a street over from the casita with new outdoor fitness equipment and running the area's asphalt streets or down a sandy arroyo is great! You can't go wrong with the casita if you want a nice place to stay in ABQ and not waste money on hotel fluff.

  • We were traveling from La Jolla, CA to Austin, TX after our wedding and had not decided where we would stay. We wanted everyday to just be an adventure on our drive home. As we approached Albuquerque we got on airbnb and found this wonderful place. It was perfect! The host were so accommodating and helpful. We had never used airbnb before so we were not sure what to expect. It was fantastic. We had packed just a backpack for the drive home so we did not have to unpack our huge suitcases each night but this meant that we really needed to do laundry and they had a washer and dryer in the room and left soap out for us. It was the icing on the cake. The place was super clean, and the shower was wonderful. They had thought of so many little details that made our stay perfect. While we were leaving in the morning we ran into Patrick and he asked us if we had a breakfast place in mind. We did not and he gave us a fantastic suggestion. When we make our way back to Albuquerque to do more exploring we will be staying with Tamara and Patrick for sure! They were our first airbnb experience so people have a lot to live up to in the future!

  • Love waking up and laying in the bed looking up at the Albuquerque sky out of the window. So convenient having a washer and dryer there. Always nice and quiet.

  • A+ Accommodation -- truly on every level this is a top-notch, high-quality place to stay. Very quiet, and in a good neighborhood with great view of the mountains and downtown. Clean, neat setting with adequate room and a comfortable bed. Nice extras like soft towels and snacks. Friendly hosts! Added bonus is a small, splashy, natural-looking waterfall/creek fountain at the front entrance which is stunning. I would definitely return for more time and stay at this cute casita.

  • I had a great experience with Tamara and Patrick. They have a very nice private casita/studio right next to their home. I was warmly welcomed to their home. The room is perfect for one or two people and has everything needed for a quick or longer stay in Albuquerque: private bathroom, washer/dryer, TV, complimentary toiletries, etc. They have great recommendations for things to do around the area and of course can provide excellent restaurant options.

The location is in the NW area of Albuquerque, which is a bit less hectic than the central part of the city, but still provides great options for shopping, entertainment and dining.

I definitely recommend this place...Tamara and Patrick were incredibly sweet and friendly...it was perfect for a first-time Airbnb experience!

    Response from Tamara And Patrick:

Ken, you all are welcome. We were up late that night and we walked out and noticed you all were still out. Didn't even notice when you all got back. Glad you all had a good time and maybe our paths will cross again. Take Care.

  • Fabulous stay. The room is very well equipped with everything one would need, and Tamara and Patrick have obviously taken care to make it perfect and welcoming. The location is a quiet suburban neighbourhood not far off the highway and close to shopping.
We were only there one night but would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

  • I had a great time staying at Tamara and Patrick's Casita. They were amazing hosts. They gave me a warm greeting upon arrival and gave me a tour of the place. It looks exactly like the photos, everything neat and clean. They provided maps and information packets of the area, and even provided complimentary waters and toiletries. I definitely plan on staying with them the next time I pass through Albuquerque.
