  • We had a great and safe stay at Gully's beautiful flat. Definitely recommended - Gully was very nice and uncomplicated. Thanks so much!

  • Gully's place was perfect for our stay. His description and pictures are very accurate. The house was clean, there was plenty of space, our room was nice, the rooftops didn't disappoint and Gully was very helpful and friendly. The location is great as well, within walking distance to a lot of cool districts in lower manhattan. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Gully's apartment was the perfect place to stay in my extended weekend in NYC. The pictures are accurate and the place is pretty much spotless.

I saw Gully for maybe 5 minutes over my entire 3 day stay but the instructions inside the apartment were clear and he responded within minutes to my text messages.

The East Village is my favorite neighborhood in Manhattan and this location is within walking distance to some of my favorite places. The price point was also reasonable, highly recommended!

  • Very nice flat (clean, good location, great view from the roof)

  • Gully was a cordial, communicative, and well organized host. He has his place professionally cleaned, he leaves a map, a list of cool things to do, and places in the area to eat, which is helpful in a vast place like NYC, and as someone who has lived here before, they are good suggestions. The room has lots of light, it's in the Lower East Side which is an awesome neighborhood, and it's pretty quiet because it's on a courtyard, not the street. Gully wasn't home too much, it wasn't awkward, and the people in the room next to us were fine too. The setup was how you'd interact with roommates, cordial, but not overly interactive. My sister and I recommend the place. Oh, and make sure you go to the roof. It's beautiful, it's the tallest building in the area so the view is epic.

  • Gully's flat is clean and nice with an amazing roofterrace and the best location. We fell in love with his dog, head over heels. The neighboorhood is charming with lots of spots to have a coffee or a bite and Gully leaves you his tips for where to go and what to see. We would definitely come back.

  • We had to cancel our stay so didn't get the chance to stay at Gully's place this time. Gully was very helpful and quick to respond to emails so we will try to stay here when we next make it to NYC.

  • Great space in a good location. I was in NYC for a very short weekend for an early Monday morning interview. Gully's space provided a quiet location to prep for my interview as well as to explore the city - with the little time I had. Very clean and I slept very well. Thanks!

  • The rooftop is amazing ! The apartment is really great, spacious, luminous. The bedroom is nice, the bed is big. There is a nice basement with a fitness gym and a laundry. The host has a dog really cute. There are restaurants, supermarkets, and a subway at ten minutes to walk. Really great place !

About
Originally from Australia, I moved to the bright lights of New York in early 2010 and working at a digital creative agency. I spend a lot of time at work during the week, I like to go out, but also enjoy chilling out at home and watching sports/documentaries or a movie. I like to keep the whole Airbnb thing pretty casual, I'm here to help if you have questions but otherwise I'm happy to let you do your thing, I haven't even met some of the guests which is fine with me if that's what they want.
