  • Spent 5 nights at Joan's cozy and comfortable studio apt. Joan was easy to deal with during bookings and really friendly upon meeting her. Had a great time - would definitely stay again.
    Thanks Joan!

  • Joan was a fantastic host and easy to coordinate with. The building has a concierge and fast elevators, the bed was super comfortable and the apt was clean and had everything you could need. There is a grocery store a block away and a Duane Reade drugstore that is open 24 hrs nearby. Grand Central is 3 blocks away which makes it easy to explore the city. Right outside the station on 42th St, you can take the shuttle bus back to airport, it leaves every 30 mins and cost less than $20.00 dlls. I highly recommend to stay here.

  • Joan was a wonderful host! Her place is as advertised, and she is very responsive to any communications. Most of all, her place is QUIET which is a real find in NYC. Anyone looking for a good night sleep to do some work the day after hanging out in NYC should absolutely stay here.

  • The place is extremely cozy and comfortable for a couple. the bathroom was super clean and the bed is great. the location is good and there are cabs in the street all the time. Joan was very professional and sweet. Thanks Joan!

  • Host was friendly and sincerely concerned with the confusion on the pricing published compared to the pricing actually charged so a rebate was much appreciated. For less than the price of $200, I was able to secure a room in a hotel near Times Square, where the action is - daily cleaning, spacious and lighted room. The Tudor neighborhood is definitely safe and silent.

  • It's a really nice cosy place in a great location. Perfect for 1 person or a couple. The apartment block is really nice with a very convenient little general store in the lobby. The fridge makes a bit of a humming sound so could be difficult for light sleepers. Otherwise I had a great time at this place and Joan was a very friendly, accommodating host.

  • This is a charming building in a historic, unique neighborhood, close to Grand Central Station and the subway there. The studio apartment is small and quite adequate; everything works as it should, and it is very clean throughout.

It is located conveniently to the Crosstown bus (M42) and uptown and downtown busses on 1st and 2nd avenues, both close by.

Joan met us as arranged and she was very cordial, gracious and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this apartment.

  • Joan hospitable hostess. Joan owns a good apartment in the center of New York. It it is ideal for 2 people. In total that is necessary - is available in an apartment. Joan kindly gave me necessary cosmetics (as in hotel). Its apartment small, but very cozy. There is a big bed with soft pillows and a comfortable mattress. Airconditioner, kitchen, microwave oven, satellite television, very fast wireless Internet. The apartment is located in old, but an authentic skyscraper. Neighbors and doormans the very friendly. The area in which there is an apartment - extremely silent, cozy and is a lot of trees. Meanwhile, to the Grand Central station - only 7 minutes on foot, to the Times Square - 15 minutes on foot. Taxi to Soho and Chelsea club - at most 15USD. I would tell that this ideal place for a short stop in New York and to be in the center of the majority of sights! I felt at home! Thanks, Joan! I highly recommend your apartment to the following and following guests!
