Clean rooms in Fun Sam's B&B

Bed & Breakfast - Private room · No.27, Xiangshui Road, Yangshuo, Guilin, Guangxi 541900, China

The Space

Hi, I am Sam, I live with my parents and grandma in Yangshuo in a newly-built huge building. Currently we have some twin rooms and some kingsize rooms and 2 triple rooms, all with ensuites. My mom cooks really nice local food and always ready to share Chinese cooking with guests. so I made my place into a guesthouse, called Fun Sam's Bed and Breakfast.

Fun Sam's B&B surrounded breath-taking limestone peaks, close to delicious local chinese resturaunts. A short walk will take you to the city centre where a lot of the bars and shopping stalls are.

Fun Sam's B&B is a place where people can get a clean room with a delicious breakfast, meet new friends and relax in Yangshuo.

I grew up in Yangshuo, and I know my hometown very well, like the back of my hands. So I also organize private and customized tours. Please feel free to ask me anything you want to know about my B&B or my hometown.

Check In
  • We really enjoy staying at Sam's B&B. Sam and his family are all great people, very easy going and gave us a lot help. If we have any chance to go back to Yangshuo, Sam's B&B is definitely our first choice. Also, you should never miss Sam Mom's cook, very local and delicious.

  • Ron and I enjoyed our extended stay with Sam and his parents very much due to our cycling accident. Sam and his parents were very helpful in providing us with meals and driving us to and from the hospital for our appointments. The Zhang family went out of their way to help us with all our needs, and we appreciate all the help in getting us to Guilin. We will have to return again in the future, to complete our travels in Yangshuo and the rice fields. And will definitely stay with Sam again.

  • Fun Sam's place was perfect for our stay in Yangshuo! The location was in a quieter part of town, so we were able to enjoy the sights of Yangshuo at a leisurely pace. His parents and friend, Linda, were also incredibly helpful. We got rides from Sam's dad and learned how to make dumplings from his mom. On the last day, I accidentally left my backpack at the B&B, and Sam and Linda personally delivered it back to me, even though I was already on a bus on my way to the airport! The room was spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

  • I satayed at Sam's with my family and everything was great, the place is nice and confortable at the location is good but the best was Sam and his family, they gave us great service and attention being the best hosts I've ever had!

This place is ideal if you like biking, hiking and climbing because they have all the equipment and San can guide you to the best routes in town (I didn't do it but want to come back to China just for that)

    Thanks Sam!

  • We had a lovely stay at Sam's
place. The triple room was nice and spacious. Sam and his parents were wonderful, they helped us arranging tours around in the beautiful Yangshou area. We also ate delicious dinner with Sams family. A place we will miss and hope to get back to some day.

  • Sam was out of town when our group of four arrived, but he had his friend Kevin fill in. He was equally knowledgable about Yanghsou and helped set up rock climbing (200Y) and kayaking (200Y), both half day trips. Sam's parents were very hospitable, always offering you the local fruit in season (which was tangerines for us). Rooms are set up like a typical hotel room with each room having its own bathroom inside the room. He has king sized rooms and rooms with two full beds. Dinner is 30Y per person, and is worth it, as you'll receive tons of food! Highly recommended for the price and value received!

  • SAM and his family are great hosts. They made us feel like we were part of the family. Sam was always available to give advice on what tours to do. He even took us around on a full day tour, for a minimal price. Great B&B, clean, comfortable, great food and wonderful location. His place is between the country side and West Street (main street of Yinghsou) so it's a great location. Sam's English is fantastic! So communicating was very easy. Officially the best accommodation I had in China.

Don't bother staying anywhere else! You wont regret it and plus you will make a great friend!

Sam will organize all of your day trip! This avoid being scammed!

  • Great place and great people. We were tired arriving from Longji. Sam helped us to bookdinner and liu san jie show for the night and boat trip for the next day. His father even drove us back from the boat trip. Superb breakfast by Sam's mother and Siao Li.
The rooms were spacios and clean. Convenient location near the bus station and west street. Would definitely stay here again.

  • One of the most memorable stays. Good location, good food and most of all, the warmth of Sam and his family. If at all, I do come back, Sam's B&B would be the only choice.
