Welcome to the newly constructed (2021) boomerang-shaped Modern Villa located in the Hudson Valley's farmland, and just 20 minutes from the charming town of New Paltz. It is the perfect getaway for anyone living in the city who needs to reconnect with nature. Featured in the Hudson Valley Style Magazine, with its inspiring architecture, flat plane, concrete floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows, this house is reminiscent of the famous mid-century "case study" homes seen in Palm Springs.
The space
The south-south exposure allows for beautiful light and spectacular sunsets throughout the day! There are four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in the house. Designer modern furnishings (Charles Eames chairs, Togo sofas, etc.) and a state-of-the-art kitchen are featured in the spacious living/dining/open kitchen area. There is a Nespresso machine, a Dacor stove and oven, a Kitchen Aid stand-up mixer, and a Le Creuset ceramic Dutch oven in the kitchen.
There are large windows in each bedroom so you can enjoy the views directly facing the house of the meadow. With a 12" rain shower and a BainUltra air bathtub, the main bathroom is equipped with the latest in bathroom technology. Rain showers are also included in all other bathrooms. Located in the center of the house, the family/TV room has a beautiful courtyard behind a glass wall with large plants and trees. Several board games are available in the family room, which includes a 72" TV with integrated apps such as Netflix and HBO Max. When the back cushions are removed, the living room couch can be used as an additional sleeping area.
There are two outside patios: one directly adjacent to the kitchen, with immaculate views of the gorgeous meadow, featuring a 10-seat modern picnic table, Weber charcoal grill, and a 12’ umbrella. The other patio is best enjoyed for sunset watching. It features a sofa, coffee tables, and lounge chairs.
On the 3.8-acre lot, sits a 40 x 16’ in-ground, saline, fully fenced swimming pool with integrated stairs and benches, an in-ground basketball hoop (half court size), a ping pong table, a fire pit, 2 queen size hammocks, and a 15’ trampoline.
The house is perfect during any season for friends and family gatherings. It is particularly suited for those who want to explore the area any time of the year: fall foliage in the Catskills, apple picking, Hunter Mountain for skiing, hikes in Minnewaska State Park, Storm King Art Center, etc.

The home is adjacent to farmlands with beautiful cattle roaming. Please do not attempt to feed them or go near the fence.
POOL RULES
* The pool is open from late Mate to September. Exact dates are TBD so please reach out to confirm before completing the booking.
* Children should never be left unattended in or near the pool, even if they know how to swim.
* Don't run or dive into the pool - enter and exit the pool slowly and carefully.
* Don't push or jump on others in the pool.
* Don't bring glass containers or food into the pool area.
* Don't use the pool while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
* Wear appropriate swimwear - no street clothes, jeans, or shoes in the pool.
* Practice good hygiene - shower before entering the pool and don't swallow pool water.
* If you have a communicable disease or open wound, do not use the pool.
* Do not add any foreign chemicals to the water.
* If lightning or thunder is present, clear the pool area immediately and take shelter indoors.
