Paola is very sympathetic, she receives us kindly and gives us good tips about venesia ,transport, restaurent and the around of the appartment, this latter is well located,15 min from the center of venesia by a frequent bus (each 10 min) and near shops open until late at night. We reccomand you to be the host of Paola.
Great apartment in Mestre. 10 min walk from train station. Great value in terms of location and size of apartment. Apartment is equipped with all of the necessities - kitchen, utensils, fan (no AC), table, etc. Host was very pleasant to deal with and quick to respond. Great place to stay at if you do not mind walking to train station. Would recommend.
A lovely apartment for a couple which is perfectly situated to visit Venice. It also has private parking ( perfect for us as we were on a road trip) Paola is so helpful on arrival, sharing travel information and top tips for visiting Venice. I will definitely be recommending this apartment to friends planning to visit Venice.
Paola was an excellent hostess! We arrived earlier than expected and she made arrangements to accommodate us. The apartment was so clean and tidy. I was concerned with the lack of AC (I thought I had booked a place with AC), however, the neighborhood is great and the apartment is on the second floor so it is quite safe to leave the windows open at night. Even in the heat of late July, the breeze and temperature were perfect to sleep in. The location of this apartment is excellent! So convenient to the bus, train, coffee shop and restaurants. Paola recommended a new restaurant nearby named something Columbo. This restaurant serves traditional Venetian food. We went native and it was wonderful! It was walking distance from the apartment. We also loved the coffeeshop/bar around the corner from the apartment. We had beers & wine each night and cappuccinos with pastries in the morning before heading into Venice. We absolutely loved the location and the addition of quick and reliable Wifi makes Paola the perfect hostess! Highly recommended!
Thank you for letting us stay in your apartment! It was very nice and very accesible to the main train station (Mestre) and also for buses and trams. The apartment was very well maintained, it was really like home in venice! We had everything we needed! We will surely come back again!!
Paola was a very nice host and kept in contact before arrival. When we came to the apartment she explained to us everything we needed to know and there were folders of information such as how to get to Venice , things to do and much more which was really appreciated. The studio was very lovely and just like in the photos with everything you could need. On the day we got there, Paola had newly installed a wifi-system which was brilliant as it was the only thing which would have been a slight downfall. There is a lovely terrace which we sat on every morning for breakfast and made meals in the kitchen which was fully equipped. There is also a supermarket which is fairly close and we often bought food from there to take back and cook.
It is a bit confusing about the price for the bus to get to Venice, a couple times we paid 3 euros one way pp but then once on the way back we only had to pay 1,50 euro pp?
Overall, we had an absolutely lovely stay and would highly recommend it
