Sunny room in Frederiksberg very close to the city center. It takes 8 minutes on bike to get to Rådhuspladsen. Despite its central location the neighborhood is very calm and quiet.
The apartment is very sunny with a view to a great back yard. In the back yard there are grills, tables etc. and you are welcome to use it as much as you want. In the backyard you also find a small well equipped playground. The apartment is on first floor.
The bedroom has a very good kingsize bed. If you bring a small child I can organise a weekend bed for children and a high chair. You'll have acces to the living room where there is a small dining table. There is a shower, washing machine, dishwasher and WIFI.
Godthåbsvej nearby is a cozy shopping street with many little shops and cafés. You also find a lot of shops on Falkoner Alle at the end of my street.
It's relatively easy to find a place to park in my neigboorhood. Its free at night and the first two hours during the day. Most likely you need to park for a longer period and you can by a ticket for a whole day for 35 Dkr in a kiosk.
I will provide linnen and towels. There is also a bike waiting for you! And if you bring me a local delicacy from your hometown, I might be able to get you an additional bike :-). You'll have to write to me about this in advance.
If the check in and check out times doesn't suit you, let me know and we will find a solution if possible.
In the end of July I will be on holiday, so in this period you will have the whole apartment to yourself.
Gayfriendly people are welcome.
You can't smoke in the apartment, but if you bring an ashtray to the backyard, you can smoke there.
No right wing people.
Super stay in CPH at Helle's.
The flat is a cosy and quiet place, very fonctional. We could use the kitchen, the bathroom and the cosy living room. The sleeping room was also nice and the bed super-connfortable! Helle gave us the keys and everything was very smooth and uncomplicated! And the best: We had fresh bread rolls on Sunday morning!
Handicap: The flat is not in the hypercentre and you have to walk 10-15 min to the metro. Apparently there are buses near by, but we did not check this out.
Thansk again Helle for hosting us and hopefully see you again!
Helle has been more than a host, she started to be a friend. Since we contacted her via airbnb, she was very helpful clarifying how to reach her place and guide us in the system (first time in airbnb). She even waited for us on the street when we were coming to her apartment.
She was very patient with our questions and very helpful in everything. For example she helped us to get a good deal to rent two bicycles close by her home, which were fully equipped during our stay. She has prepared all material needed for tourists (e.g. maps, museums information) and one can ask her openly what she would recommend to visit in her city. She is a person one can have a good conversation with, if one wants to, as well as she offers you your space. Great to share the time with her!
She always made us feel welcome at her home. One of us got sick in the last day, and she was really helpful on help him to get better. Even she was open in case we needed to stay longer at her place.
The apartment is as the photos indicate, clean, cosy and with personality. Additionally, the apartment is well located and in less than 10 min on a bicycle one can be in downtown. Helle is willing to help you with all what it is needed, for example, she shared with us her kitchen appliances to have our dinners nicely done. Even one night she shared her dinner with us, it was very nice from her! Unquestionably, after staying in her home, I feel I have an acquaintance in Copenhagen and hope to visit her again!
Without any question I recommend staying in her place if you plan to visit Copenhagen!
Helle was such a nice host! She greeted my friend and me outside her apartment when we arrived and really went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. (For example, when the Internet konked out she offered to leave her mobile phone at home as a hotspot for us. That's so nice!) She also set aside all kinds of maps and guides for us and was very accommodating about our check-in and check-out times. The apartment is charming and very clean. We liked staying in Frederiksberg. This neighbourhood really gives a feel for what everyday life in Copenhagen is like and it's a nice change from the touristy spots. I would definitely recommend this listing if you plan to spend a few days in Copenhagen and want to see day-to-day life in the city unfold.
Helle was a wonderful host and the room and experience was every thing we could have hoped for.The Danish people and Helle were most helpful and hospitable. This was our first airbnb experience and we will be using it again.
Boet hos Helle i fire dage. Super værelse, super gæstfrihed, super venlighed, og super beliggenhed. Helt sikkert et besøg værd. :-)
I stayed 5 days in Helle's apartment and I really felt like at home. Helle was waiting me in the street the day I arrived and it was very nice. Helle has an open mind, she likes to share ideas and experiences and when we met we had interesting conversations about the difference of French and Danish cultures. The apartment's area is very quiet and nice and near the center of the City. I warmly recommend Helle's apartment to everyone interested in visiting Copenhagen.
Heel leuk adres! Helle was super en we voelden ons er direct thuis. De kamer is zeker groot genoeg en je hebt er een living, keuken en badkamer bij (gedeeld). Alhoewel dit allemaal niet zo groot is is het ruim voldoende met twee.
He appartement is mooi ingericht en proper.

I'm a 50 year old social worker. I've had some nice experiences being an airbnb guest in Germany and Spain, so I thought I would try to be a host too. Looking forward to welcome my first guests.
