About this listing
Sunny room in Frederiksberg very close to the city center. It takes 8 minutes on bike to get to Rådhuspladsen. Despite its central location the neighborhood is very calm and quiet.
The apartment is very sunny with a view to a great back yard. In the back yard there are grills, tables etc. and you are welcome to use it as much as you want. In the backyard you also find a small well equipped playground. The apartment is on first floor.
The bedroom has a very good kingsize bed. If you bring a small child I can organise a weekend bed for children and a high chair. You'll have acces to the living room where there is a small dining table. There is a shower, washing machine, dishwasher and WIFI.
Godthåbsvej nearby is a cozy shopping street with many little shops and cafés. You also find a lot of shops on Falkoner Alle at the end of my street.
It's relatively easy to find a place to park in my neigboorhood. Its free at night and the first two hours during the day. Most likely you need to park for a longer period and you can by a ticket for a whole day for 35 Dkr in a kiosk.
I will provide linnen and towels. There is also a bike waiting for you! And if you bring me a local delicacy from your hometown, I might be able to get you an additional bike :-). You'll have to write to me about this in advance.
If the check in and check out times doesn't suit you, let me know and we will find a solution if possible.
Gayfriendly people are welcome.
You can't smoke in the apartment, but if you bring an ashtray to the backyard, you can smoke there.
No right wing people.
Helle had a small, but nice place. She let us use her bike and a friend's bike in exchange for a bottle of wine. She was very hospitable and the place was very clean.
Helle is such a great host that does the little extra things. She cycled out the sidewalk to greet us and let us use her washing machine. She made us feel welcome right from the start to the end. The room was spacious and comfortable to sleep in. Helle lent us bikes and it was nice to cycle like the locals do! It is about 7 mins walk to the nearest bus stop and takes you straight to town in less than 10 mins. I already miss Copenhagen and hope to visit and see her again soon!
Everything was allright. Good information before and during our stay .
Bycicle were o.k. (we are tall people, not everyone is so tall).
Nice home, very friendly host and a very good bed!
Helle was a wonderful host and her preparedness helped me optimize my time in Copenhagen. Her detailed instructions to her home were very helpful. She spoiled me with a nice cheese and fruit snack upon my arrival. She had great suggestions about how and what to see including an inexpensive boat tour. She even loaned me her cute violet bike. Helle is a five star host.
Thank you Helle!
We had a great stay in Copenhagen! Helle made us feel at home and we even watched a movie together on a rainy evening. And she even left us a little breakfast on our first morning. The bikes are a great plus!! With the bikes the innercity is very closeby and we even biked to the beach, which was approximately half an hour! So all combined: the room has a good location and Helle is a great host!
Helle is a marvellous host. She made us feel welcome straight away and helped us getting around in her city. We slept wonderfully in a comfortable bed and the room we stayed in had a beautiful view towards a green and quiet inner courtyard. It was a great pleasure to stay at such a lovely flat for a couple of days and see a great deal of Copenhagen by bicycle. We'd love to return soon.

About the Host, Helle
I'm a 50 year old social worker. I've had some nice experiences being an airbnb guest in Germany and Spain, so I thought I would try to be a host too. Looking forward to welcome my first guests.
