interior room (DOES NOT HAVE WINDOWS TO THE STREET)
You can count on wifi connection. with comfort to provide services department, kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, and availability to give a little tour of the area and indications for a stay more pleasant and hassle by Madrid.
Its location is very convenient because you can move from here to museums closer to the center: Reina Sofia, Museo de Arte Moderno Tissen, El Museo del Prado.
Also la filmoteca Nacional, Plaza mayor, el palacio Real , el Templo de Debod, el Parque del Retiro, etc.. and during the week are enough places to play by the center.
Besides that many places you can move to the center as Sol, Lavapies, Gran Vía and Callao just walk and enjoy the streets of Madrid neighborhoods.
Although if you want to have at your disposal the public transportation of Madrid, near the metro Tirso de Molina and Lavapies and bus stops that take you all over Madrid, and nearby is the commuter train station Sol and Atocha to go to places farthest.
You will meet a family friendly atmosphere and any questions we will help you solve it quickly
Nayelly was very nice and hospitable giving us information about the city and allowing us to leave our luggage in our check out day until the night. The house is not so big, but there is everything you need to spend few days in Madrid and it is in a very central point with 10 minutes walking from Puerta Sol.
Lovely lady but house was like a backpackers with too many people in the house and as it was not a bnb it shouldnt be as expensive or on airbnb. Didnt get breakfast or a cup of coffee.
Sorry I would rather say nothing than say this but it was my money and I could have stayed in a hotel for the same price. And as for an inconsiderate boyfriend making more noise than a pack of horses each time he came home and at crazy times.
Took us in on extremely short notice to which we are very grateful. The flat is in a good location, we walked everywhere. Our only issue was that no one informed us the washing machine was broken so when we tried to do laundry it was a bit of a mess.
Nayelly and her family were very sweet to us. Nayelly speaks good English, and she did much more than she had to in helping us with problems that we encountered. The best part about staying here was the great location - even though the metro is only a couple of blocks away, we actually walked everywhere for most of our stay, including the Prado and all the major plazas. In addition, we enjoyed the neighborhood itself - outside of the main radius of the tourist area, and with a local, multicultural feel. In particular, try the Moroccan restaurant around the corner. Also, the main street in the town for "chinos" (Chinese sellers of cheap goods) was right around the corner - we picked up a new suitcase for about as cheap as you could think of to replace our broken one.
Nayelly's description of the room on airbnb was accurate. Even so, the room did feel small, and it was difficult adjusting to a room without natural light (we overslept a couple of times). The shower also had about a 10-minute span of hot water, although it would recharge in about a half-hour or hour. However, this was also part of the charm of staying in this apartment - the timeless feel of the main hall and the burrowed front door of their apartment made for an authentic experience with a lot of character. Be patient with the front door downstairs - it will take a lot of wiggling but when you get it right you'll feel like you just solved a puzzle!
The stay was pleasant, the room was exactly as described, simple, cozy, clean, quiet, super centric and either Nayelly or her friend made us feel very welcome, like "at home". We would come back with pleasure!
My girlfriend and I had a nice stay at Nayelly's flat.
The space was clean and well kept. Though it was often dark from lack of natural light, the room was very comfortable and we could not complain about the room overall.
The location was great, though in a less eventful part of the city. We found that it was fairly easy to walk to the areas that we most wanted to go.
Nayelly was an extremely kind and accommodating host. We arrived in Madrid very late at night, and we were still warmly greeted by Nayelly. We were also scheduled to leave Madrid late at night on the last day, and we were allowed to leave our luggage at her home until our flight out, leaving us the freedom to explore the city for a full day.
Overall, it was a very nice stay.
Our stay was easy and comfortable. The room was simple with a bed big enough for two (or maybe even three). The bathroom and kitchen were nearby. The place was clean and excellently located. Nayelly was friendly and accommodating with check-in/check-out time.
The room was very clean and you can't beat the location or price. Nayelly was nice enough to provide maps and guide books to the city. If you want to be located in Madrid's city center this is the room for you.
