The space

Our little condo has been fully renovated. With a fresh modern style, a new kitchen and bathroom you wont find anything else like this on the island. We have a nicely outfitted kitchen (2 burner electric cooktop, large pantry, no oven included), lounge area with cable TV and wall mounted AC, dining area for 2 people, contemporary tiled bathroom and one bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Both the bedroom and living area have ceiling fans. We renovated the place as our own little paradise and would love to share it with you.

The condo is located just a 10-15 minute walk from the town of San Pedro. This means you are far enough away to enjoy the quiet island lifestyle yet only a few minutes from restaurants, grocery stores and the downtown shops and activities. The condo is 1 block back from the beach and you can enjoy the view of the water (beachside or lagoon) from the rooftop of the building. For longer trips to the north or south of the island you may want to rent a golf cart. Taxis are also available to take you downtown, or rent a bike for easy accessibility to downtown.

Linen and bath towels are provided, as well as beach towels. We have a 37" flat screen TV with local cable channels available, we also provide wireless internet. We provide a pickup and drop-off service from San Pedro Airport. Our excellent property manager's will be able to assist you with anything you need during your stay.

It may be small but this condo is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the island and all that Belize has to offer. Amazing diving, wonderful fishing, beach activities and tours of the jungle, cave tubing and nearby ruins.

House Rules

We do not have many rules for the apartment. The building is mostly rented by locals so please be considerate of the people who live here. Please no smoking inside the apartment, you can smoke outside or up on the rooftop. Pets will be considered, the apartment is small so only small pets will be allowed. The building is not very child friendly (the outside railings on the upper levels are not that sturdy) so it is not suitable for small children to stay.

I would not recommend this place. In terms of location, the beach close by is not one you would want to relax on. It's desolate, dirty and has cement walls separating the water from the sand, which is covered in trash and seaweed. The upstairs neighbors blasted Eminem and Linkin Park almost every night, making it impossible to relax and sleep at home. There are also three dogs across the street that bark all night. The sheets were ripped and the Wifi was much slower than anywhere else on the island. It works at dail-up speeds, so researching things to do, looking at maps, etc was difficult. We also woke up with bug bites all over our legs, so there must have been bugs in the room. There were ants in the kitchen. Another frustrating thing is that the host listed on AirBnB is not the actual host of the apartment. Instead it's someone named David, who was an hour late letting us in. The number on AirBnB for the host didn't work, and the number we got for David didn't work initially because we didn't know we needed a + sign before it. So, we were left outside the apartment for an hour sending messages via the Airbnb app to Rysha who then tried to reach David. There was air conditioning, but it wasn't really powerful enough to cool the bedroom, just the entryway. I'd say good things about the place are the shower, which was warm and had good water pressure. He also gave us water, which was nice.

The place is small but the location is great, close to everything but still far enough away from the party hard tourist crowd. It's a quiet area and everyone was very friendly and helpful. it was well appointed with every basic thing from a coffee pot to beach towels you could think of. A great place to sleep in between getting on your golf cart and exploring San Pedro

THIS REVIEW IS FOR CASA COMO REY, UNIT 2. WE WERE MOVED A DAY OR TWO PRIOR TO OUR TRIP DUE TO WATER DAMAGE AT THIS PLACE. Casa Como Rey Unit 2 was clean and had a very comfortable bed. Super quiet neighborhood away from the beach. Only amenity is a couple bars of soap; no washcloths so I suggest you bring your own supplies!! Great AC and an expansive kitchen. Be warned that you will have to place ALL toilet paper (yes, even if you go boom boom) into a wastebasket, which you will have to take out later, yourself. Very modern little place, but likely would not stay here again.

This is a nice, small apartment. We had a few problems contacting Rysha, but eventually worked it out. It's definitely a good walk to the beach, but close to a local supermarket. We didn't use the kitchen much because the fridge wasn't in great shape, so plan to eat out mostly.

I loved Rysha & Tyler's place. Very nice flat at a short distance from the town center. The area is lovely, supermarket and fruit stand around the corner. David was very helpful the first day I arrived, and was available for any additional questions. I would recommend this place.

Nice spot and the host was very responsive. The location is slightly removed but walkable from town. Easy to get to and from the beach. Overall, we had a great time.

My wife and I enjoyed 4 nights of our honeymoon at this condo. The location was great - near the beach, great restaurants and bars, a grocery store, liquor store etc. however the condo is on a quiet street. We saved a lot of money staying here and using the kitchenette to prepare breakfast and bagged lunches. Thanks Rysha and Tyler!
