Quiet Apt, Perfect Midtown Location

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Peachtree Circle Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30309, United States

The Space

Spacious 1 bedroom in quiet apartment building in the heart of Midtown. Close to MARTA, the High Museum/Woodruff Arts Center and within walking distance of many great bars/restaurants.

This building was originally built in 1910 and has been completely renovated to modern standards. Unit is on the 3rd (top) floor and gets plenty of natural sunlight in the mornings. Building is safe and secure; located in the historic Ansley Park neighborhood of Midtown.

Kitchen and bathroom are modern and the shower has a dual showerhead. Bed is a queen mattress and comfy. Clean towels and linens are provided. If you're a coffee drinker like me, both coffee and tea are available as well!

Excellent location for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in the city.

Wifi, Apple TV (Netflix, Hulu) and Over the Air stations are available. I have one parking space available behind the building, otherwise street parking is plentiful and a guest pass will be emailed to you.

This apartment is unique in that it is in the very popular/trendy Midtown area of Atlanta, but tucked away and quiet so you do not realize you are in the heart of the city.

Washer and dryer are also available and guests have full use of the kitchen/kitchenware/etc.

I love my place as it is a "getaway" within the city!

(*please note, I do not have cable TV. Only Apple TV/Neflix/Hulu and over the air stations)

Guest Access

Guests have access to the main living area, the bedroom/bathroom, full kitchen, and laundry area. The only room not usable/shared is the back room where my desk and bikes are stored.

Interaction with Guests

I'm typically not able to meet guests at arrival, but try my best to meet them at some point during their stay.

The Neighborhood

Ansley Park is a historic neighborhood in Atlanta. I love living here because of it's location and also because of all the historic homes within. Despite being in Midtown, the neighborhood itself is very residential and "away" from the noise of the city surrounding the area.

Getting around

The Arts Center Marta station is less then a 10 minute walk away, otherwise, street parking is usually plentiful. There is also one parking spot available behind my building through a very narrow driveway.

Other Things to Note

My apartment is a like a hideaway in the city. It's quiet, peaceful but yet very close to all that Midtown has to offer.

  • Perfect stay in Atlanta. Location is marvelous if you are interested in the arts as the High Museum is 5 minutes walk away. The neighborhood is gorgeous with wonderful walking to Piedmont Park. Also 5 minutes drive to Georgia Tech and grocery shopping. Well stocked kitchen (and I cooked a lot), as well as nice linens and laundry access (in the apt). I would happily stay in this charming 1910 apartment again. Our host was available by phone and text when any questions arose within minutes of asking. Lovely all around accommodations.

  • I was lucky to stay in Kevin's apartment during a trip Atlanta. His place is beautiful, clean, and sunny; there's a parking spot in the back; speedy internet and a washer and dryer if you need it. The location is amazing - Atlanta's museum and culture hub around the corner, Buckhead and downtown nearby, Chick-fil-a a 5-minute walk away. Perhaps most importantly, Kevin is a generous, well-organized, and very responsive host.

Kevin's apartment truly felt like a home away from home. Thanks for making my trip a very good one, man.

  • My husband and I did a quick weekend away and Kevin was very easy to contact; unfortunately our plans didn't allow us to meet Kevin in person but he went above and beyond in providing amenities (including fresh fruit!), directions, and references. The apartment is fantastic and within easy walking distance to the symphony hall, botanical gardens and delicious food (get to the Flying Biscuit before 9:30 and you'll be seated instantly!)
All in all it was a wonderful weekend in a quiet and clean apartment in a great area.

  • Wonderful location in Atlanta. Fully equipped apartment with comfortable bed, full kitchen, off street parking and larger than we expected. Kevin was available when we needed him. Highly recommended.

  • AMAZING!!! The location was perfect given my reason for coming to town. Kevin was VERY accommodating and his place has EVERYTHING you could ask for. I usually stay in hotels within the Midtown area, but this was by far MUCH better than staying in a cramped space. The apartment was spacious and has TONS of character which I loved. I will most definitely try to book Kevin's place on my next trip to Atlanta. THANK YOU KEVIN FOR A GREAT STAY!!!

  • Kevin's apartment was great! It was in a fantastic location near midtown Atlanta, the perfect location for Music Midtown in Piedmont Park. Loved that he had coffee available and that I was able to sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup in the morning. Would recommend to anyone!

  • Kevin has a beautiful apartment in a dream location. We walked to the botanical garden, the High Museum, and didn't have to drive far to downtown. His bed and sofa are luxuriously comfortable; his kitchen large and well equipped. There are two flights of stairs; the apartment is on the third floor, but it's worth the trek if you want a very quiet, spacious, and utterly charming place to relax after being out all day. Be sure to place the guest parking permit on the driver side of the windshield. We got a parking ticket one of our three days at the curb, even with the permit up on the windshield. Only other complaint: wish there'd been more closet space/empty drawers to unpack stuff. But this was a DREAM vacation rental. Thank you, Kevin! You made everything easy for us.

About
Originally from Atlanta, well almost, have lived here since the age of four. I enjoy travelling, trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends. I'm a very laid back guest as well as host. As a guest I believe in treating the space like you would your own home. I really love my apartment and enjoy sharing it with others via AirBnB. One of my long term goals is to own/operate a Bed and Breakfast in a wine region. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life who come to visit Atlanta and choose my listing as their accommodations.
