We spent the weekend in San Francisco. We started our trip and had a few delays. Ken was nice enough to wait for us. The place is quiet and peaceful. It has a beautiful private garden. We were able to park in their drive way which was major points since parking is hectic. I would definitely stay here again.
Loved this place. We've been to San Francisco many times but never spent time in the Mission. Ken's place is on a quiet block but just off 24th where all the murals are and lots of great coffee shops, restaurants and more. Very short walk to Bart. Quiet cozy apartment. Absolutely would stay again.
Ken and Richard greeted us on arrival . They went out of their way to give us information and make sure we were comfortable. They are charming, friendly guys - it was always nice to see them. The cottage is exactly as described - it is charming, cozy, private and quiet. It has a little deck and overlooks the beautiful lush garden. This is an interesting, vibrant neighbourhood that would be of particular interest to seasoned travellers who want an authentic, local experience while still close to transit. As it happens we were travelling by car. They have a nice little off-street parking pad. The airport was an easy 15 minute drive and it was also surprisingly easy to get to the Golden Gate Bridge and points north by driving down Van Ness To Lombard. Highly recommended.
Ken was extremely welcoming and gracious. He welcomed my colleague with open arms and made sure he had everything he needed. The cottage was also spectacular, clean and very cozy (with dependable wifi apparently as well).
Thank you Ken!
I had a great time staying in this cottage. Everything was lovely, private and quiet. Ken was a fantastic host!
We felt very comfortable with our hosts. The cottage was adorable. It is located to easy access to BART. Thank you again for a lovely stay.
My partner (Richard Leger) and I have occupied and owned this Victorian for 31 years. We were married in July, 2013. We love San Francisco and take pride in our home. We enjoy classical music, eating out, reading and visiting museums. I sing in a large community chorus (San Francisco Choral Society - Tenor) and my church choir (First Congregational). We are members of the San Francisco Historical & Museum Society and the Fine Arts Museums of SF. We are looking for guests who are seeking a lovely home base for their visit to our world-class city. We hope to provide ideas and directions to make your stay as rich an experience as possible. We can possibly provide a city tour in our '79 VW convertible if desired.
