Branson is a family oriented vacation community famous for the dozens of musical and other entertainment shows one can attend. There are also plenty of free things like: a fish hatchery just down the road, at the base of the dam, where kids of all ages feed the fish; the beautiful college campus across the river, where students work for their tuition and sell products they make at an old grist mill; the downtown waterfront area is good for a walk, or take a riverboat tour from there for a fee. The nearby lake offers opportunity for fishing or boating.
You’ll have a first class experience at the Wyndham Branson at the Meadows Resort. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools available for your use and a nearby golf course. At the recreation Center you’ll find a concierge desk that will help you with questions about the various shows in town: they will place reservations for you – many at discounted rates.
