Fully renovated in 2012 and in immaculate condition, this spacious and tastefully decorated apartment on a classic London square comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, separate laundry and access to magnificent communal gardens (just like in the movie Notting Hill!), television and wi-fi access throughout. Comfortably sleeps 6 adults
(2 double beds 2 single beds), perfect for families, business executives, and tourists. Additional child bed and/or cot and high chair available on request.

Moments from the trendy restaurants and boutiques of notting hill and Portobello Road as well as famous Hyde park and with easy access to public transport (central, circle and district line) and convenience stores as well Paddington Station (for those traveling through Heathrow), this apartment offers the perfect base from which to explore the sights of London. The delights of Oxford Street, Covent Garden, the West End theatre district, Knightsbridge (of Harrods fame), Madame Tussauds and numerous museums are all minutes away by public transport or London cab.

Nearby access to gym and pool at the Porchester Centre. We also provide running routes in the area.

The apartment is divided into 3 double bedrooms. There are two double beds, one with an ensuite full bathroom. All beds are covered with Egyptian Cotton sheets and duvets. The pillows are soft and comfortable and white towels are supplied in the bathrooms. There's desk facilities for working. Ample storage is available which is convenient for longer stays. The apartment is unique in the area as it is such a large space in a great location.

Guests when they arrive will find the basics for food available including milk and small care pack. The nearby supermarkets are open until 11pm at night with some stores even longer. We are flexible with arrival and departure times.

  • We stayed at Robert's fabulous property, we were a family of 4, our sons 12 and 14 had the best best time. Great accommodation and great location, made us feel like locals. The health food store just around the corner on westbound grove was a great find, as was the M & S supermarket on queensway. So easy to get around to anything London has to offer. We had a fabulous time and will happily stay here on any future trips to London if it is available. Thank you Robert and thank you Magda. Magda even arranged our transport to the Eurostar terminal. Thank you both so much!

  • This apartment was perfectly situated in a residential neighborhood close to Notting Hill and Hyde Park. It's a few blocks from one, and just a few more blocks from another, subway station which made it incredibly convenient for getting around town. So lovely to come back to a "real" home in a neighborhood with many lovely residential parks and attractive buildings. The shopping streets nearby are also fantastic, with small boutiques and great places to eat. A small shopping mall is in an old, beautiful building only two blocks away. Bottom line, the location can't be beat. The arrival and departure were seamless - Robert and his staff were very easy to work with and helpful. The apartment is spacious and well furnished. As others have commented, it's at "half basement" level so windows are high and there are steps down, rather than up, from the sidewalk, but unless you plan to live there forever, it really doesn't make much of a difference. The place was very clean, nice thick white sheets and duvet covers, and white towels, and ample lighting. There were a few "housekeeping" upgrades we suggested to Robert when we left - the master bedroom bed squeaks like crazy - almost every time you take a breath the springs grind - it has to be replaced - hopefully with a bed with no foot-board to make it easier to circulate in the room. It would be helpful to have an easily accessed broom and small vacuum on hand, and the dryer needed servicing. The kitchen is a little short on glasses and a few other small things. These were tiny inconveniences and do not detract from the overall excellent state of this apartment, location and host. Oh, and there are tons of great travel guides in the shelves, for London, England and many other destinations. No need to purchase before you arrive - and you can plan your next vacation! We highly recommend, and will absolutely return ourselves at our next occasion.

  • Great host, great apartment. We stayed at Robert's apartment with four kids, 17, 16, 5 and a six month old and there was plenty of room for us all to relax. The location is fabulous, everything you need is nearby, including the wonderful Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground, perfect even in winter for active kids with excess energy to burn. Robert supplied us with a basket of goodies to start us off and organized a cot and a high chair for us. It was fabulous, and we hope to return

  • Practically Perfect -- we were four adults and one teenager and we couldn't have asked for a better set-up with lots of room and excellent facilities. Really appreciated the 'welcome basket' of breakfast goodies and the very well set up kitchen. The location could not have been better -- easy distance to several tube-stations and a lovely stroll to the park. The only challenge was that because it is a basement flat it was very dark in the morning making it hard to get out of bed -- but just set more than one alarm to fix that. Would definitely recommend.
