It was a Great Place to Stay. Everything was Fine , the near to the Underground was top , we Would definitly come back .
A basement flat but well-appointed and easily spacious enough for our group of 5 adults. The big sitting room is both stylish and cosy: with comfortable seating, good lighting, tv and lots of books, it was the perfect place to relax between outings. The location is superb: a quiet, leafy square just off Queensway (for shops and the tube) and within easy walking distance of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Robert was solicitous in all our contacts, welcomed us on our arrival, gave us good advice and then granted our request for a later check-out than normal. It made for a great London stay.
Everything was well arranged and with enough facilities that you need. The flat was large enough for our small group of six adults，one child and one baby. Beds were very comfortable and we did have very nice sleep. It was also very convenient to get out by tube and bus beside. You could take a couple of minutes to reach sainsbury, tesco,M&S,pharmacy, restaurants around. If you are going to travel to London, this is a very good space to stay. Thank you, Robert and Magda，thanks for everything you have done for us and wish you all the best.
We had a great time in this flat, very nicely decorated, nice linen - everything was thought of. Lots of natural light too, even being a downstairs flat. Excellent location, close to supermarkets nice restaurants and the bus/tube. We easily went all over London from here. Our family of 6 fit comfortably and the 2 1/2 baths meant no queuing for bathrooms. Books, Wifi and lots of TV channels kept the kids happy between trips and though we didn't cook here the lovely breakfast care package was very appreciated!
The flat is lovely and very comfortable and spacious. We especially appreciated the excellent location, just couple of blocks from the Bayswater tube station and dozens of shops and restaurants. It was such a help to have plenty of reading material and guide books in the flat, too. Our daughter and grand-daughters liked their rooms and the layout, which offered lots of privacy. We left a note in the flat about a few small things: oven fan is oddly loud and possibly broken so we did not use the convection setting; we did think the park would be accessible so we a little disappointed we would not go inside. Otherwise, we were totally at home and found the flat wonderfully fitted up with everything we needed. Thank you for an excellent stay.
We were very satisfied! The apartment has three bedrooms, a spacious living room, a well functioning kitchen with dishwasher, a washer/dryer and two and a half baths . It has plenty of light is not noisy and the heat and towel dryers work. It was perfect for two grandparents from Chicago and a mother and dad (both lawyers) and two little boys 5 and 3 from Washington DC.
The location is just fine -- pretty white-building square, just a couple of blocks from the Bayswater tube station on Queensway with its many ethnic restaurants and shops and a good pub. Not a long walk to the memorial playground in Kensington Gardens.
Robert was most helpful and so was Magda, who met us and gave us the number when we needed a cab. When a doorknob needed fixing, Orbert sent a handyman over first thing the next morning.
We definitely recommend it.
About the Host, Robert
I am an Australian living in London. I've been here for 15 years now so I know what it's like to come and visit and want to make sure that everything goes just right. I've travelled extensively worldwide and we enjoy meeting people from all over - which is the attraction on London.
My wife and I will do our best to host you during your stay and feel free to contact us. We've tried to equip the apartment with the things you might need when abroad.
