Cozy log cabin (half of a pair-house) for rent in Ylläsjärvi. Location is excellent for cross country skiing and hiking. Peaceful and quiet location. Beautiful mountain view from kitchen and sauna. 65 m2, including living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 lofts, kitchen, sauna, bathroom and separate WC. Final cleaning and bed linen can be ordered for an extra fee. By car to Ylläsjärvi village 5 km and to the slopes 9 km.

The space
The cottage has two separate bedrooms downstairs - one with a doublebed (160 cm) and the other with two beds (80 cm), which can be merged. There are two lofts - one for sleeping, the other for remote working. The cottage has undergone extensive renovation in recent years, e.g. the kitchen, sauna, bathroom and toilet have been renewed. The cottage is heated by geothermal energy (underfloor heating). Children's equipment is available. The loft is not suitable for small children due to the steep stairs. There is a good 4G network in the area, good enough for normal telecommuting (5G coverage depending on operator).

There is a hot tub (not bubble pool), which can be rented for an additional fee from May to October.

Guest access
Guests have access to all areas of the apartment and to the woodshed in the courtyard. Parking is available in the courtyard and there is an electric heating pole for one car.

Other things to note
Guests must take care of the final cleaning themselves and bring their own bedlinen (sheets, towels and cover for sauna bench), unless final cleaning or bedlinen as an extra service has been agreed on separately in advance. Final cleaning can be ordered for an additional fee of €75 and bedlinen for an additional fee of €25 per person.

At the end of the cottage there is a hot tub, which can be rented from the end of April until October. The price is 150e per heating and filling session and 200e per two sessions (for bookings lasting at least one week, we can rent at half price). You have to fill, heat and clean the place yourself afterwards. The rental must be agreed on at least one week before the start of the booking.

In Christmas time and high season weeks 8-16, check-in is at 18:00 and check-out at 10:00, but we will try to inform you when the cottage is available for check-in when we know the cleaning company's schedule.

The cottage is located at the end of a private road, the location is quiet. Ski trails are available 20 meters from the front door. Ski café "Aurinkotupa" is located approx. 1 km from the cottage, suitable for small skiers. Summer and autumn outdoor trails are also nearby. Good berry picking areas near the cottage. To the village of Ylläsjärvi by car approx. 5 minutes, to the skiing centre approx. 10 minutes.
