'HOVE TO' 'A great place to stay'

Bed & Breakfast - Entire home/apt · Crosby Hill Rd, Buderim, QLD 4556, Australia

The Space

'Hove To' Buderim is that ‘special’ place you’ve been looking for, it is an exclusive spot, where you can relax in elegant and friendly surroundings.
It is a stunningly designed complex, ‘cutting edge’ in style yet maintaining a natural integrity of the environment that sets it quite apart.
As guest/s you can enjoy all the modern comforts of 'Hove To' but will in no way be intimidated by the host’s commitment to ‘eco consciousness’. Your host’s made a conscious decision to ‘Tread lightly upon the earth’ this included the provision of ‘Solar energy’ for electrical and hot water needs, plus own water storage and on site sewerage treatment system.
The layout of the property is fascinating. It consists of three pavilions arranged around a courtyard area that has an 11 metre swimming pool, this in a lush tropical setting. The local fauna give their obvious approval of the development. They visit regularly exchanging their friendly presence for treats.
One of the pavilions houses two spacious guest studios with queen size beds, each of these having their own ensuite bathroom and kitchenette. These elegantly appointed guest rooms have unique features that set them quite apart, open views and separate courtyard access to the pool allowing for private ‘al fresco’ entertainment..
You can be as private as you like, or share the company of other guests or your hosts. One thing is certain; you will be warmly welcomed by your host’s at 'Hove To'.
Your hosts presents guest/s with the opportunity to ‘just stop awhile and smell the roses’ then when you’ve sufficiently relaxed, the world will still be there when you’ve decided to join it again.
Very centrally located, it gives easy access to the beaches and resorts of the ‘Sunshine Coast’ and the fascinating hilltop towns of Montville, Maleny, and Eumundi with it’s popular market and lively township.
'Hove To' is quite blessed by circumstance and nature, it has it’s own sense of seclusion yet it is conveniently close to the township of Buderim, once famous as the home of the world famous ginger products.
These days Buderim is an attractive, thriving hilltop community with breathtaking views of the coast and distant mountains, for local and nearby information simply ask your host’s, if your inquiries extend to areas beyond, the town’s nearby information centre caters very well for both the intrepid traveler and the casual tourist.
Staying at 'Hove To' has been described as ‘a place where you can escape,’ treat yourself sometime, join us and enjoy that piece of ‘Paradise’

  • Five of us stayed on the night before my sister's wedding for a girlie night of pampering and getting ready. Our hosts provided us with lovely accomodation and left us to enjoy the property in privacy. The bathrooms are beautiful and the pool area is gorgeous for photos. It was a wonderful night.

  • My partner and I stayed at Hove to for a mid-week getaway from the busy city life. The stay was absolutely marvelous, Robert and Robyn were kind and welcoming, the perfect hosts! The accommodation was perfect, the design of the unit was fresh and vibrant and had a private gate to the tropical pool setting. Very modern and trendy and in touch with nature. Robyn's beautiful artwork decorated the rooms revealing the hidden talents of our host. With full amenities and breakfast nothing was left to be desired. The breakfast was fresh and filling and there were generous snacks to fill in the gaps. The location was very central (the beach a very short drive away) while at the same time giving you the secluded private feeling we were looking for. As our first airBNB experience we could not have asked for anything better! We will definitely be trying this again, hopefully we can find other hosts that live up to Robert and Robyn's impeccable standards!

  • Hove To was a wonderful place for my wife and I to spend Valentine's Day together. The accommodation consists of two neighbouring self contained apartments that are part of a 'U' shaped complex surrounding a beautiful pool, and which includes the host's house. Although the apartment is in close proximity to neighbouring guests and the host's house, and shares a common pool, garden and lawn area, there was still plenty of privacy.

The apartment itself was immaculately clean and had everything you would need for a short stay. It had a kitchenette for simple meals and continental breakfast which was kindly supplied. The natural bush setting and 'Eco' style of the buildings made for a relaxing and peaceful stay, even though the action of the wonderful Buderim village is just around the corner.

Buderim is an interesting place with some great restaurants and cafes. Make sure you grab a coffee at 'The Birds and the Beans' an eclectic and trendy espresso bar, and we had one of the best ever Indian meals at Rangoli restaurant. Also, there is a great organic marketplace and cafe called Kunara just down the hill.

Robyn and Robert who own and run Hove To are lovely people who couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. They were both interesting and worldly, and we enjoyed getting to know them.

We highly recommend Hove To and Buderim as springboard to the rest of the Sunshine Coast. We'll be back!

  • 'Hove To' is lovely B&B that is so inviting. Robert & Robyn are great hosts and we found them to be sincerely warm and welcoming people. After a busy day including travel we immediately felt extremely relaxed in the comfortable surroundings of this B&B as if we were in our own home. I wish we could have stayed longer to further immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Hove To and further enjoy the hospitality of our hosts. Highly recommend this B&B and to top it off good value for money.

  • An amazing house that demonstrates an eco-friendly lifestyle doesn't have to compromise beauty or convenience. Our stay was wonderful, Robert and Robyn had thought of everything when supplying the room, and were the most friendliest and laid back of people. Be sure to enjoy a swim in the beautiful pool and take a hike down into the breathtaking forestry that is the backyard. Shall undoubtedly be back again!

  • Absolutely fantastic place Robert and Robyn has here! Convenient to get to any attraction and Robert was extremely helpful in helping us getting around. He even printed a map and hand drawn the direction for us after knowing we did not where we are going. the apartment is fantastic, located in the middle of forest, such a peaceful and serene environment, the internal of the studio is a real pleasure to stay too! Will definitely stay again next time!

  • Our original reason for choosing lodging in Buderim was that we could not find any rooms available on the coast but what started off as a back up plan turn out to be most fortuitous choice. Our hosts have designed and built a very pleasant venue for travelers. Our stay at "Hove To" was one of the highlights of our trip. We were only 15 minutes from the beaches of Mooloolaba but each afternoon we could retreat to a nice dip in the pool and pleasant green surroundings. Buderim itself turned out to be a great location to launch our daily explorations of the Sunshine Coast. We dined there several evenings and found a great Italian restaurant and a very nice Indian restaurant a short drive from our quarters. Robert and Robyn were wonderful hosts, very respectful of our privacy but also welcoming and inclusive. We quickly warmed to their company and enjoyed hearing stories of their adventures traveling around the world. I give this stay my highest recommendation and will gladly return there, given the opportunity.

When Robyn Stynes made a sweet deal with her husband Robert, she had no idea it would wind up an award-winning performance. Robert had a dream to live on a boat and sail around the world, but after 17 years of reveries, it was time to come back to reality and follow through with the bargain. “I promised Robyn a house,” Robert said. “We’ve never had a new house, we’ve always renovated, I said if you can have your dream, I want mine,” Robyn said. Four master plans later and retired architect, Robert had created a masterpiece. The 230sq m home on a 2.5 acre block on Buderim comprises of three living pods framing an 11-metre swimming pool. Each quarter has an alfresco deck and access to the pool.
