Linda & Steve’s place is exactly as advertised. It has a great location to explore Verde Valley area and beyond. The home is comfortable, roomy, with a nice view and kind owners who are ready to help. It was the perfect place for a holiday get away to relax and explore interesting things. We felt very lucky to found this gem.
Our family had a wonderful experience at Linda's residence. Loved the views of the mountains and especially the sunrise. Very clean and spacious. We enjoyed all that it offered. Never ever being in Sedona nor the Grand Canyon, it gave us the opportunity to enjoy both of these places.
We really appreciated the opportunity of staying at Linda's "peaceful" home.
This house is in a great location. Peaceful. The house was completely updated and immaculate. Linda was available by phone when needed. Great view of the stars at night from the deck.
Linda and Steve were great to communicate with. Unfortunately, as we were only there for one night, we didn't get a chance to meet them but Linda's sister who lives across the street was very welcoming and a great host. Definitely will return when heading back to the area!
My friend and I had a wonderful time in this lovely home. We were coming to check out Sedona but we didn't want to be in the hubbub of a tourist town. Now it is a bit of a drive, 25-30 mins, but in exchange we got every star in the sky at night! It was an unbelievably peaceful and beautiful setting, perched on a hilltop with a panoramic view of desert terrain and as I said, pure sky.
The accommodation was squeaky clean and everything we needed was provided for us. Although Steve and Linda happened to be away they were in touch by email and response time was more than fast the one time I emailed to say goodbye. But they have a lovely caretaker just across the street who was completely available and so very kind. And she gave us lots of tips about local places of interest.
We missed Montezuma's Well but I would say, whatever you do don't miss Montezuma's Castle, a preserved cliff dwelling just minutes down the road. It was the highlight of all we saw in my opinion, but I am a history buff so if that's you listen up!
Honestly, if you're looking for serenity, ease and cleanliness -- look no further.
Linda's home is exactly how you see it in the pictures. Clean, comfy and plenty of space for a group up to 8. It's located overlooking the valley so the view from the Balcony is exceptional and a great opportunity for star gazing at night. Linda was very accommodating and shared some great local tips to enjoying sight seeing and hiking - beaver creek, montezuma castle and well. I highly recommend staying here if it is an option for you.
Steve and Linda were awesome at responding to my messages/emails. They were a very hospitable and accommodating to my group. Their home was beautiful and comfortable and my niece and daughter had a great birthday getaway. We visited Montezuma Well and Sedona. Found a wonderful Mexican restaurant in Camp Verde called "La Fonda's." We will be making plans to return soon! Great view from the patio deck and beds were comfortable!
Linda and Steve's description of their home is right on the mark! Peaceful!
First day there we woke up to deer wandering through their back yard. First night, we sat out on their deck; warm breezes, relaxing deck chairs and stars that defy description.
It was clean and convenient to everything we wanted to do and see near Sedona. Although Linda and Steve were not physically present during our stay, they were very responsive via email regarding restaurants and directions to local attractions.
Don't miss Montezuma's well, Montezuma's castle or Tuzigoot, which is a bit of a drive, but definitely worth it. Cottonwood is a nice, little town along the way, with restaurants/bars for a frosty beverage.
Amazing place. The view is perfect. We were still so close to Sedona as well which was a perk. Will go again for sure.
Steve and Linda were extremely helpful and communicative. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Nice deck with beautiful views. Nice clean bathroom
