Located in Glen Iris. Glen Iris Train station is approx 100 metres from the apartment so a few minute walk. Glen Iris is 13K from the CBD. Glen iris station is 100 metres from apartment and High St Tram is 200 metres from apartment which will take you in to the CBD, Prahran, Malvern etc . The apartment is east north facing. You literally wake to a sunset from the east facing bedroom window and balcony and other windows are north facing. The outlook is extremely green and private. The property is surrounded by bike and walking tracks of Gardiners creek Glen iris.
Just normal consideration for other residents in the block. This is a small group of 12 apartments. Parking is at the rear of the property in the middle of the back fence.
Nice little light apartment. Very clean. Exactly the things one need for a pleasant stay; good bed, working kitchen, wifi, nice bathroom etc. Bill was a very good and professional host, responding immediately to any inquiries. Location was a bit far off the center, but not even a problem with the train. Bill was even kind enough to send us a phone we left behind by mistake.! We recommend staying at this apartment.

We stayed at the Glen Iris apartment for a bit more than a month. We never got to meet Bill in person but he was very helpful and responded within the hour. Location of the apartment is perfect transport-wise within walking distance to the train station. The area itself doesn't have much, only one bakery-cafe across the street; closest amenities are within a kilometer in Glen Iris, or in Ashburton which is the nearest suburb. Closest shopping centre is the one of Tooronga, within a 4' driving distance. Would recommend a car if you're staying for long and need amenities to be closeby. The apartment itself is slightly older than it looks, but this is something I'd read from a previous review so was prepared for it. There is a great variety of DVDs and the apartment is satisfactorily equipped. Cleaning-wise I can't say the apartment was delivered dirty, but I wouldn't say it was spotlessly clean either (wardrobe was old and dusty inside, shower curtain moulded and stove oily). Clean floor, sheets and towels though. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Thanks Bill
This was a great little flat and so well located. Straight off the freeway if you are driving and just 2 minute walk to Glen Iris railway station. The block of flats are a bit tired but Bill's flat has been refreshed and refurnished. Maybe the bathroom could be refreshed a bit more but it total it worked beautifully for us.
The accommodation was fine and situated close to a train station which was very convenient.
Great Location, the trains are right at the doorstep and it is a quick trip to the city centre. Lovely sunny apartment. Bed was extra comfortable, and the kids loved the novelty of sleeping in the loungeroom. Thank You for a stress free stay.
Clean and comfortable. As another person mentioned the apartment was pretty much as described but slightly older and in need of some painting. When I arrived at the apartment it was obvious that the apartment had just been cleaned and it smelt fresh and clean.
There are quite a few stairs to navigate so probably something to be aware of for those that have alot of luggage.
It is a very quiet neighborhood but the house is really close to the metro station, so it's very easy to get to the CBD. The bed is very comfortable and big.
