Robin was very accommodating! The place was clean and spacious. Everything worked great and the pool table was a nice touch. The bed was great!
Robin was really easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to everything. The apartment worked out just great for us. The kids loved the pool table.
We enjoyed staying at Robin's home on Bainbridge. It was on a lovely quiet street on a large rural lot. It was perfect for our plans as we had a fully scheduled wedding weekend nearby. This is definitely a place where you would need a car to get around. The space was clean and comfortable - and if you like to play pool, the pool table is a bonus. Robin was there to greet us and was a gracious host.
This is a beautiful unit that was perfect for our family. It is much larger than the pictures look with a huge backyard. There is a very friendly dog that was always there to greet us and make sure we felt welcome. The pool table is in good condition and it is full size which was a nice bonus. Bainbridge island is absolutely stunning and this unit is within walking distance to the Grand Forest which is an amazing hike. I would stay here again when visiting the island.
Robin's space was very peaceful and spacious - just as advertised! It was a very straight forward experience and she was speedy & precise in all communications.
One thing to look out for: The kitchen is on the smaller side with 2 induction burners. While things were more than sufficient, I wouldn't plan on any overly complicated meals.
My 3 teenagers and I had a fabulous stay at Robin's home. (This was my first time using airbnb so a small part of me wondered if I'd made some crazy decision.) Robin stayed in touch throughout the time leading to our stay and even gave us ferry feedback for a busy Friday evening. We were a little later than anticipated when arriving (after not heeding her ferry advice) but she met us in the driveway and showed us to the space. It was an ideal spot to relax after driving and sightseeing and being overstimulated by city life. We all slept comfortably and soundly. It was so simple to find her home (three left turns from the ferry) and just as easy to make it back in the morning. The island was quaint, sweet, beautiful and had delicious food as well. I highly recommend this home and spot!
We enjoyed our stay in Robin’s spacious apartment where we stayed for more than a month with two children. The well lit living space is much larger than the average one bedroom unit and was great for our kids. We were happy with the kitchen where we made all our meals. We usually took lunch with us to explore Bainbridge Island. Robin gave us helpful suggestions and provided much information so we knew where to go on the island. Less than half a mile from Robin’s place is an entrance to the Grand Forest with many walking trails, one of which leads to Battle Point Park that has a great playground and a pond. From there you can also walk to the shore. Bainbridge has miles of footpaths shown on Robin’s maps and all only a few minutes away. The Island’s Recreation District, which oversees all of the great parks, also offers weeklong summer camps that our children loved. Island Educational Services had a one week boat building class much liked by our nine year old son.
