There is a free car park onsite. Three aditional free public carpark spaces are in an inlay in front of the house. We are located at the Gateway to the Burren. It is easy to get to the Cliffs of Moher, Burren Mountains, Ailwee Caves in Ballyvaughan, Galway City and Connemara for day excursions.
You can hire a speed boat or sailing boat to go to the Aran Islands or the Cliffs of Moher or take the ferry from Doolin or Rossaveal.

Kinvara is a beautiful picturesque fishing village with stunning sea views. The main tourist attraction is Dunguaire Castle. There is a weekly crafts and farmers market and there are many small restaurants and coffee shops. Excellent traditional Irish and other live music can be heard in the pubs on most nights.
The village hosts 2 major festivals: the Cuckoo Festival (poetry Festival) in May and the Cruinniu Na Mbad (sailing fesival) in August.
You will not get bored here since there are so many activities that you and your children can enjoy like fishing, sailing, hiking, swimming on nearby secluded beaches, windsurfing, canooing, golfing and riding.

Nearby are also other monuments like Poulnabrone Megalithic tomb, William Butler Yeats Tower. Nearby in Coole Park W.B Yeats spent his summers with other poets at Lady Gregorys Coole Park Home (The Wild Swans at Coole and many other poems were written there and in the Tower). Many old circular stone fairy forts are on the nearby Burren mountains and Saints like St. Patrick and Mac Duagh were Celtic Hermit priests in the local area with some of the ruined buildings and Holy Wells still now being visited by both locals and tourists. There are also interesting ruins like Corcomroe Abbey near Ballyvaughan and the seven churches in Kilfenora with old Celtic crosses.
