Absolutely wonderful stay!! We all wished our stay had been longer. Stunning countryside as you drive and good food, comfy beds, and a jolly host waiting to welcome you home.

Firstly, I'd like to state that the actual bedrooms in this place look very nice and of a high standard. Unfortunately we were put in the conference room, which had beds in it. We were told this was because we had 2 dogs, but there was someone in one of the family rooms with a dog. I can only assume that the real reason was because we stayed on a bank holiday weekend, so she must have overbooked. She had the audacity to claim that we had been upgraded!!! In fact it reminded me of the sort of accommodation for scout groups!

I am the voluntary manager of the community business which has been set up in 2002 and has been operational and improving its facilities on a regular basis. The centre now employs more staff, encourages local community involvement, promotes peace and reconciliation among communities in the Mournes and generally trying to promote the economic and tourism aspects of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Mourne Mountains. Come and visit us and we will make you extremely welcome.
