This is the master bedroom of a 3 bedroom, top flight flat. (there are about 35 steps, but the view is worth it!) It contains a private bathroom, queen bed, a 36' HDTV and a large closet.
The apartment itself is very roomy, sunny, recently renovated with high ceilings and hardwood floors. There is a short-hair CAT (Trixie) on the premises. The Potrero Hill neighborhood is a safe and quiet area and there are numerous restaurants and shops within east walking distance and is only 10-15 minute drive to downtown or Berkeley/Oakland or pristine beaches South. Public transportation to downtown is only 3 blocks away (aprox. 25-30 mins. away) From there you can connect to the cable-car for destinations to Fisherman's Warf, Chinatown & North beach.
The Cal-Trans train station is also 3 blocks away for those who need to take public to S.San Francisco, Mt. View, Palo Alto or San Jose. The 22-bus runs 1 1/2 blocks away and services the Mission, Lower Haight and continues to the Marina district.
If you are renting a car, which I advise to see the North Bay (GG Bridge, Marin Headlands, Pt. Bonita, Sausalito, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach and Pt. Reyes)
There is a hot-tub downstairs you are free to use. There is a Washer/Dryer guests are free to use. There is use of the kitchen but please check ahead if you plan on cooking in more than once or twice during your stay as I sometimes have very busy weeks with my food truck.
I like to provide at least a continental breakfast and can do a great deal better if my guests aren't up too late or early and I am not too busy prepping for a lunch gig that particular morning.

Jon was a fantastic host. I was greeted with a glass of wine on the balcony and made to feel entirely at home. The bedroom and ensuite bath room were spacious with a desk and a huge wardrobe and loads of storage. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and piles of fresh towels all provided. Jon is great company amd has lovely friends and cooks a fantastic breakfast. The location is great, it's easy to get anywhere. The view from the balcony is simply.
Jon's place is great. The view from the deck is incredible. We enjoyed our coffee out there in the morning and a cocktail in the evenings. The bed is super comfortable and the room is large. We were not there too much, but when we were, Jon was very nice. He cooked us breakfast on 2 mornings and even drove us to the airport so we could see the beach. He is a wild driver, but I think that goes along with California. :) We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay with Jon again!!
It was a great stay- the room is large and the ensuite bathroom is nice! Jon was friendly and I had a great time.
I stayed there for a month. Jon has been a great host. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, so was the bathroom. The area is a very peaceful street, and the bus stop is 2 blocks from the house. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the city, with good views.
best place we ever rent
jon spend hours in kitchen to make every day the best breakfast we ever had in usa ....
and in addition a great few from the balkony
Jon is a fantastic host, the listing is amazing with a fabulous view and Trixie the cat adorable. I would definitely stay there again in my next trip to SF.
Jon was a great host, always offering to cook breakfast and a really standup guy. The location is terrific, and the room is extremely comfortable, especially with the walk-in bathroom. Close to 18th Street which has a few restaurants and cafes (Farleys is great for coffee and wifi!). There are also some good connections to CalTrain, the 22 Bus (Mission) and the T line (SoMa/Financial District). Be prepared for a bit of a workout if not traveling with a car :)
Very comfortable room, and a short walk to restaurants, bars, and UCSF@Mission Bay. I stayed there for a month and I would definitely stay again.
Jon is one of the most laid back people that I have ever met! The view from his place is breath-taking. The massage chair is AMAZING. Jon is passionate about food & is a great chef. Not only did he offer to cook for me on several occasions, he even offered me cooking lessons!
We stayed with Jon 4 days in total and 2 of those days in the large master bedroom (the other two days in the other room).
The appartment is absolutely perfect for a visit in San Francisco. It is big and sunny and the view from the balcony is amazing! Jon is very caring, friendly and relaxed. He served us a delicious breakfast on the sunny balcony every morning and gave us many tips about where to go and what to do. And we even got to enjoy the hot tub downstairs (watching the stars while holding a glass of wine in your hand - what more could you ask for!).
I would also highly reccommend to explore the neighborhood - 18th street just around the corner has some very cute and chilled restaurants and cafés. This was our first airbnb experience and I'd say the best start one could possibly have! Thank you very much Jon for making our stay so pleasant, we would definitely come again!!!
