Beautiful studio in 150 year-old apartment building in the Lower Garden District.
The building was recently renovated and features 10 foot ceilings, 8 foot windows, granite counter tops, stainless kitchen appliances, a Jacuzzi bathtub, in-unit laundry and dryer.
There is free wi-fi Internet, a flat screen TV, DVD player, HDMI hookup for laptop or ipad, surround sound speaker system, neat freshwater aquarium, free street parking. Tastefully decorated with New Orleans flair, professionally cleaned. Full sized futon with independently encased coil mattress, with an extra twin mattress that slides out from beneath. The landlord does not allow cats or dogs or smoking in this unit.
The studio is one block away from famous Magazine Street shops, restaurants, cafes and a 24 hour gym. Three blocks from the streetcar stop on St. Charles Avenue- about halfway between Audubon Park and the French Quarter. There is plenty of free on-street parking but really no need for a car! Just walk, streetcar, and bike your way to anywhere between the levee and the Marigny.
I have used every dollar earned on AirBnB to pay off student loans or donate to local charities! It helps get me motivated to clean and organize the place before your stay :)

Trevor is a maticulous host, providing thoughtful instructions for arrival, guides and local tips, and provides tastefully decorated and well located apartment. There are some great local shops for breakfast and the CBD and French Quarter are close enough to easily venture to with public transit, but far enough removed that its easy to get a cab, even during Mardi Gras.
Trevor's apartment was GREAT!!
It's conveniently located close to a street car stop in the beautiful Garden district. The apartment was clean and comfy. If I go to New Orleans again, it'll be my first choice! Trevor was very helpful and answered all my questions and gave useful tips.
This place was great! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and classy. The location was awesome, easy walking distance to the many shops and restaurants on Magazine Street, and to the many beautiful historic mansions in the Garden District. The Streetcar stop was just a couple blocks away, and it was only a $10 cab ride to Bourbon or Frenchmen. Our host, Trevor, was very responsive, helpful, and easy-going. All in all, the place was a great value. I would recommend this place to anybody visiting New Orleans.
We loved our stay here. Great location in a safe neighborhood with easy access to public transportation. The studio was clean and exactly as described. Trevor was a great host.
We found Trevor's place last minute, and it was fantastic! Perfect location, you can walk anywhere, or easily hop on the trolley. The place was clean and comfortable, the neighborhood was safe, and overall it was an awesome stay! Would totally stay here again!
My home away from home in NOLA. Great location. Nice windows. Trevor is a dream host.
Great place and awesome location! Trevor was very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.
Had a wonderful stay at Trevor's studio. Wish I had been able to meet him, but he was traveling to VT to see his brother. I loved Magazine Street, a block away, an eclectic mix of antique stores and galleries. Also went to a pub and a couple of bars there.
Cab ride to the French Quarter was only $11 (before tip). St. Charles (where the famous street car runs) is only three block walk. Had breakfast at the "Trolley Stop" two mornings... a lot of food for little money! This "New England" guy had his first "grits" there, too!
Was great having W/D as I was in town on vaca/business, so I had clean clothes to take with me when I checked into my hotel downtown. "Cheaped out" on lunch, brought some soup and tuna with me, Trevor's kitchen was perfect... well stocked and clean!
The day I arrived it was 85 degrees and so humid; thank goodness he had a few beers in the fridge! Thanks, Trevor! I left you a Dos Equis for the local brew I helped myself to! Hey, he said to help myself to anything in the fridge!
My only suggestion is to bring an extension cord (I had one) and maybe a power strip. Trevor has fish and a wonderful DVD/stereo/big flatscreen tv, so the electrical outlets are at a premium! I ran the extension cord from bathroom to the table for my computer.
Futon bed was ever so comfortable, with a huge quilt. Arrived to find towels on the two pillows and a chocolate on each towel! Felt like I was staying in a swank hotel!
Had only one thunderstorm, otherwise slept with the window open. BTW, Trevor, I met your new neighbor... His name is Wade (or Ward)? Anyway, he thought I was you, LOL, and I didn't clarify.
Again, thank you, Trevor! This was my first AirBnB experience and you made it a good one! I only wish we could have met cause I feel like I know you now, and you seem like a really cool guy!
Trevor's place was the IDEAL place in New Orleans! Along with being an attentive great host his place fit our needs to the fullest especially the location such a hip trendy neighborhood. Definitely recommend staying at Trevor's if your headed to NOLA!
We had a wonderful stay in the studio of Trevor; Trevor is a great host and gave us all the information we needed. The studio is very well located (close to restaurants) and quiet. If we're back in New Orleans we would definitely try to stay here again.
Thanks for having us Trevor!
