Feeding cats; they only stay in living-area and not in bedrooms!!!!
Ann really has the most amazing home and we liked it immensely. It felt like living in Antwerp for real, not just visiting. It is located in Zuid which is the most charming quarters of the city and I would very much like to come back again. A sunny terrace, artistic decorations and a just generally a great vibe about the place. Ann was a very good host, and everybody ought to stay at her place!
Ann and Baas made us feel very welcome when we arrived. They left us a little welcome pack on the kitchen table, along with all of the instructions for the house. The place is easy to get to with the car, or with public transport. The neighbourhood is really cosy and super close by to the old centre, great shopping and the river. We were there for New Years Eve, so the fireworks on the Schelde were just across the road from the apartment.
The house is warm, big and beautiful. The kitchen is great and there is everything you need for cooking a nice meal. The cats are very friendly and relaxed with new people around. The bedrooms are really big and the showers are nice and hot. All the towels and linen were provided, which was nice. There is a washing machine, there is no dryer, but there are two drying racks for your washing. The wifi works really well in the whole house and we had no problems.

We had en super week in Anns very nice home that had everthing we needed. It is located in a quiet and cozy neighborhood close to cafes, restaurants and the City center.
If your headed to Antwerpen you cannot go wrong with a stay at Ann and Bas's place. Not only is their home beautiful and comfortable, it is also very conveniently located near the historic center of the city. Upon our arrival Ann and Bas patiently answered our many questions and made us feel right at home. Their home is only a few steps away from the river where there is a Velo station with bicycles waiting for you if want to get around as the locals do. Great restaurants, groceries, cafes with delicious Belgian beer and anything else you need are all close by. I highly recommend a stay at Anne's.
Wow. Ann's home was absolutely spectacular. I can't even begin to describe it! Everyone needs to stay in this Antwerp home!! Although perhaps I would not recommend it to those who have trouble walking up stairs, because there are quite a few. But this is a small price to pay for such an amazing experience. Ann and Bas were such lovely people as well, she even left us some homemade soup for our stay. Totally unbelievable, I would definitely stay here again.
To stay in Ann's apartment made us feel at home. We had a great time not only in the lovely, spacious and very comfortable house, but we also enjoyed it surroundings. Arriving by car from Amsterdam, parking was no problem, free and within 2 min from the apartment. Ann's place is in the antique district and has all kinds of lovely small shops, far enough from the tourist centre. A walk to the city centre takes you about 10-15 min, so the place is ideal! We spend two nights and really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend Ann's place to everyone! Thanks Ann!
