Really enjoyed my stay while at the festival. Hazel is lovely and does her best to make you feel welcome.
We were very disappointed with this Cannes apartment and with Hazel, the owner. When we arrived it was dirty and the refrigerator was out in the garden. It had to be moved inside and we had to clean the apartment ourselves. The kitchen was not functional as the stove did not work at all.
There was a lamp, but we could not plug it in so it was completely useless. We were told that we could not have 2 keys to the apartment which made it very difficult since my friend and I were there for the Cannes Film Fest (which we specifically told the owner beforehand) and we were on very different schedules.
We had to buy wifi but because of the area the apartment is in, the wifi was spotty at best. The owner knew we were there for business yet failed to mention this to us. We were promised reimbursement for the wifi but did not receive any.
What was also shocking was that the owner told us it was a 20 minute walk to the Palais. It was 3 miles away from the Palais - a good 45 minute walk, plus it is at the top of a large hill, so that made a very long walk even more difficult.
I would not recommend this apartment to anyone as I feel we were deliberately misled by Hazel. She promised to refund us some of our money but we have not received anything.
All in all this was a terrible airbnb experience.
We stayed in august so we were very grateful for the swimmingpool. Very well placed, 20mins walk to the city center and with easy parking places. Its a very small but cosy studio. May need some refurnishment.
Hazel is a very nice host
