Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Adriatic, is registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The historic city is surrounded by two kilometre long ramparts that protected the city against attacks from land and sea for centuries. A beautiful city developed within the walls, with numerous churches, palaces and cultural monuments. There are well over a thousand heritage listed historic buildings in Dubrovnik. Stradun, the stone-paved city’s main street, is one of the most attractive promenades in the Mediterranean where the locals and tourists love to stroll, shop and stop for coffee.
Villa Maja is located in the heart of the old town Dubrovnik, only about 50 meters from Stradun and only a short walk away from the nearest beach. The 15th century building has been lovingly renovated with modern amenities and preserved period details.
