About this listing
View from Secure Key-Access Elevator entrance to Dining area to kitchen (3500 sq.ft.)
Perched comfortably above the hustle and bustle of Little Italy and Chinatown (North Corner of Mulberry and Canal Street), where the eastern edge of SoHo meets the edgy Lower East Side, guests step into the elevator and step out directly into the exposed brick and tin ceiling loft, of the most gigantic space among the many that I host.
Warning: the pictures fail to show the true enormity of the space!
Both of the two master bedroom suites, each with ensuite full baths, are large enough to be studio apartments in Manhattan! There is a further large bedroom in addition to two large living areas, dining area and modern open kitchen with breakfast bar and dishwasher, 3rd full bathroom and utility room with washer and dryer.
Want a massage after a day of traipsing through Manhattan? The second living/family room/den has a full-body massage chair!
Feel like cooking a big dinner or entertaining in a dramatic, wide open space? The main living/dining/kitchen area is approximately 1600sf on its own.
As with most of the other buildings surrounding the loft, this building once was one of many garment factories and warehouses located in this district. Today's Mulberry Street is home to fashion, creative, entertainment and high-tech businesses as well as residents.
Just below the corner loft's noise-eliminating double-glazed windows, the hustle and bustle of Mulberry and Canal Streets goes about daily life. The view outward from the loft feels as though you're sitting in a VIP box watching a show in a big arena. Except the arena is genuine, authentic NYC life. It doesn't get more real, as well as visually captivating.
On the comfort side of things, each of the bedrooms has brand new queen (large double) beds. One of the master suites has a brand new king (extra large double) size bed.
Furnishings are contemporary and appropriate for the space, as are the pictures and objet d'arts decorating the vast exposed-brick interior.
The modern kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher, plates, utensils, substantial counter space...makes for great dinners at the big dining room table just beside.
There is a Bose SoundDock, plus 2 large flat screen tvs, one in each of the living areas.
Along with the 3 large bedrooms, there are also two fold-out sofabeds, each is a double.
Wireless Internet, cable TV and climate controlled central heating and AC are provided along with fresh towels and linens.

The loft and location were really good. We ate in the restaurants recommended which were excellent. We had take out from the chinese opposite twice and it was FAB. We used UBER and also the train as Canal Street is so close. Mulberry Street is really lively and we loved being in the heart of Little Italy and China Town. The downside is the noise, we all needed to wear ear plugs to sleep . I would also recommend guests take their own blackout blinds as the curtains do not block the light. Overall a great trip.
The space in the loft was fantastic and the location excellent. Billy was our contact while there but beyond giving us access and a quick run down of the place and answering any questions we had, we did not need to contact him again because everything was provided. The location was excellent being right in Little Italy and on the border of Chinatown - lots of choices for eating and a pleasant surprise when Mulberry St was closed to traffic over the weekend. Also access to the subway was good.
Extraordinarily large and comfortable apartment in the heart of Little Italy and China Town. Very much fun to just walk around the neighborhood. Very conveniently located to walk to One Trade Center, Brooklyn bridge, shopping.
Two large bedrooms and one small bedroom all with comfortable beds. Plenty of closet space. Full kitchen potential if desired. Private elevator entrance just to the apartment.
Host courteous and prompt.
When I go back to NYC, I'll definitely rent again!
Billy greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the beautiful place. He made us feel welcome as he was able to answer all of our questions as well as provide us with directions to the close by local market.
The host canceled this reservation 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We were in NYC to celebrate 40th birthdays for a group of 5 friends. This apartment is fantastic. Great location, great space. It is simply huge as well even the photos just don't convey it. I would definitely book again. Arrangements with the hosts all worked super easily. Nothing but good to say.
Right from the start we were provided with everything we needed from our host Wally. An accurate description of the apartment and many details and hints about the area and what to do and where to go. Wally was here to greet us when we arrived and we had an on site manager to meet any needs for the apartment. This apartment is right in the middle of Little Italy and Chinatown and has many restaurants, cafes and various shops close by and for the cultural experience it was fantastic. The subway is only one block away and great shopping from major stores to boutique shops all within a mile. The apartment itself is very large with huge bedrooms and seperate bathrooms and ensuite a for each bedroom. All needs are catered for from kitchen to TVs etc. the apartment was very clean and much better than being cooped up in a a hotel room especially when staying for a week. Would definitely go back.

About the Host, Billy, Larry And Wally
Blessed with our little girl Samantha, we strive to be better people everyday with the little things in life. We used to run thru the nightclubs and live the crazy lifestyle...we couldn't live without late night movies, the latest bar/lounge/club, being in "THE IT" crowd, running off to Paris or a quick trip to Vegas at a moments notice for a few days!
Funny, but we now get up at dawn and love to go to the Zoo, reading, although presently its all about Dr. Seuss's "Hop on Pop", and walking thru the city and exploring all the different neighborhoods. We enjoy going to ethnic restaurants and exploring tastes while exposing our girl to all NYC has to offer.
As we are a mixed couple, living within this diverse city gives us a sense of home that we cherish. We are a small family with a HUGE extended family that live in the New York and Maryland area and work hard developing our relationships with our family.
When we travel we appreciate a host that welcomes us like family, but stays out of our business. Thats what you can expect from us. We want to be available to you if you need, but otherwise, enjoy your privacy and have fun. We believe that being a good person is crucial and that good things happen to good people. That is what we are....good people.
